I went to church this morning too and was filled with the spirit of the Lord and felt his awesome power pound into me! Afterwards, I cuddled in His arms until I went to sleep.

What a coincidence!  I too opened myself up and let Jesus spread His love all over me.

I don't know about you, but he entered me through my mouth and His spirit shot into my throat like a geyser!

Pretty homoerotic fanfic for two allegedly straight guys.  I'm not judging, just noting.

Yeah but that's not humor, that's poetry right there, words from a true artist.  Someone who's truly self-aware and just .... talented at putting instincts into words.

Came to a revelation:  I need Keystone Phil back calling me a "partisan hack" again  BADLY!  I've posted in this crappy thread too much.  I need to think of politics in here, not a continuous soap opera of some helpless doofus from Oklahoma getting shot down and screwed over by hideous looking women.

PA-13 is dead, but there's the Governor, Senate, and PA 7/8 that me a KP would surely go back and forth on.

OK, I'll try to bring you back to PA politics. Santorum has had 5 recent visits to Iowa, where he is attempting to spread Santorum all over the state. I hear that it's a good fertilizer.

I also hear if it had a taste, it would be salty.

Thanks guys!

Tomorrow, I've got a full plate on tap.

I'm going to call a few different places first thing tomorrow and see what I can come up with.

The first one is a water analyzer - Here is what the ad in the Sunday paper says: $2500/month base plus bonuses. Local OKC water filtration company expanding water analyst department.  Seeking career-minded individuals, no experience necessary, will train.  Good communication skills & customer service experience a plus. Call for personal interview Monday only.

Another (again recopying the ad) is a full time permanent career opportunity for a locally owned and operated company expanding in Oklahoma City and has several different positions available in different departments - Setup/Display, Customer Service, Management Trainee.  It says they offer excellent advancements, bonuses, and the positions are full time (40+ hours). Must be neat in appearance and willing to start immediately. Call today and start tomorrow. $300-$500 week.

Yet, a third one says, HS Seniors & GRADS (non-traditional). Get a great full-time job.  Good pay, full benefits, 30 days vacation/yr, reg. raises.  No exp. needed, will train.  Ages 17-38.

There is a fourth one that say - need 18-25 A.S.A.P. No experience needed.  Must be over 18 years of age and deal with loud music and upbeat environment.

What do you think of these four ads?  Which ones should I go for? which ones should I leave out? which one should I call first?

3rd & 4th, clearly, any ad that tells you the vacation days but not actually what you'll be doing is a FF job

There is a fourth one that say - need 18-25 A.S.A.P.

18-25 what?  Your age needs to be 18-25?  Aren't you too old for that?

The third job you list also has a max age of 38.  What's with these jobs with maximum ages?  Is that an Oklahoma thing?

I think the ad means 18-25 positions over 18 years of age.

The third listing must cater to the younger generation.

Purple heart any ad that thinks it's more important to cite age requirements than what the job activity actually is

No, I definitely think you're reading it wrong. It means you have to be 18-25 years of age.

Then, why would they say it twice and waste words in such a short ad space?  Is it just pure reiteration?

While Bushie might make decent money at such a job, I don't think his boss would enjoy the added expense of going through this entire engagement charade with his co-stars before each film session.

Then again, it might make for an unusually gripping plot for the genre.

Obviously any job wanted ad where the job, requirements, and basically everything about it is completely indeterminable is a winner.  There are many questions about word choice there.

What kind of job has an upper-limit age cutoff of 25?  Entry-level prostitution?

To make the clarification that it is age 18-25 and not 18-25 openings.  Oh and the fact that the first part is in bold and the eye-catching title.  Considering 18-25 is such a common age group, too, it would be one hell of a coincidence if that's how many people they needed.

Then again, considering this is Oklahoma, it could be just requiring knowledge of King James edition Job 18-25.

You know it was in the "General Employment" section of the classifieds.

Dawg, any ad where the job isn't explained is not a real job.

Someone needs to ask Mikado more questions about his "entry-level prostitution" idea.  Like, why that would occur to him immediately [as opposed to say, porn or modeling], what happens at 26, and at what age "advanced prostitution" happens for him.

Haha, true.

I thought the same thing about those ads, but I just thought I'd run them by the forum and see what you all thought.

I'm probably going to go with the first two ads, but I'm still unsure of which one to go for first?  Obviously the $2,500 monthly base would pay more than the $300-$500/week.  But, the latter says start immediately, which could also be a scary word.
