I say FF. He's willing to tackle the tough issues that no other GOP'ers and few Democrats talk about. His campaign was futile but brave nonetheless, and I think he's an honest man.

I very much agree with this.  Had Roemer not switched parties he (A) may well have been reelected and (B) would have become a viable Democratic option for VP in 2000.
