Of course, the endorsement maps that go up later show us everything. But what are the races you actually care about, and don't just fill out because you have to?

Pat McCrory
Pete Shumlin

Senate:
Russ Feingold
Rob Portman
Pat Toomey
Rand Paul

Unfortunately my highly sought-after endorsement can only be gained by a fat cheque signed to me.

President:
Undecided. Paul or Huckabee likely. Christie, Walker, and even Rubio or Jindal possible. Let's see how the field shapes up.

Governor:
Hassan (if she runs)
McCrory

Senate:
Feingold
Toomey
Wyden
Murkowski
Scott
Duckworth
Whoever faces Bennet. Literally anyone (Dare I say, Ken Buck inclusive....blech) is better.

The rest will be decided when we have more definitive matchups. Too early to judge though I'm sure Grassley will likely be getting my support. Don't love Portman, but he's better than Strickland if that's what we get.

Wisconsin endorsements. This may sound bad but I don't care too much about endorsements for other races.

President:
Rand Paul (R-KY). Gary Johnson (L-NM)

Senate:
Undecided

House:
Paul Ryan (R, WI-1)

State Assembly:
Cody Horlacher (R, AD-33)

italicized = likely endorsements.

I don't think there's anything bad about only having an opinion about races you have a vote in, especially this far out.

WI- Feingold
CA- Harris

If we can go further downballot, I'd also add Josh Stein for NC AG.

As for me as follows. I only listed endorsements for what are expected to be competitive races or primaries, of course. My endorsement of Pat Leahy, Ron Wyden, etc, go unspoken. I also have only included candidates that are announced as running.

President of the United States

United States Senate

Tammy Duckworth (D-IL)
Russ Feingold (D-WI)
Ann Kirkpatrick (D-AZ)
Ted Strickland (D-OH)
Patrick Murphy (D-FL)
Joe Sestak (D-PA)
Kamala Harris (D-CA)
Michael Bennett (D-CO)
Catherine Mastro (D-NV)
Donna Edwards (D-MD)

United States House of Representatives

Brad Schneider (D-IL)
Emily Cain (D-ME)
John Delaney (D-MD)
Brad Ashford (D-NE)

State Governors

Roy Cooper (D-NC)
John Gregg (D-IN)

Not endorsing Johnson. That one is really a "I can't stand the other candidate endorsement". And for Alabama, I don't endorse joke candidates, which AL democrats always are.

President - No idea. Will end up voting for whichever socialist party gets a candidate on the ballot in Illinois, and if none do, I'll probably just not vote or write that person in.

Senate - Probably no one to vote for

House - See President and Senate

For U.S. Senator

For Governor of Indiana

For State Superintendent of Public Instruction

1 Assuming she looses the gubernatorial primary.

IA: Chuck Grassley
NH: Kelly Ayotte
OH: Rob Portman

President:
Marco Rubio - but I'd be totally happy with Ted Cruz and Scott Walker as well.

Senate, only the ones I really care about:
Alaska: Murkowski (R)
Arizona: McCain (R)
Colorado: Mark Scheffel (R)
Florida: The Republican, not being Rubio because he's going to be president
Hawaii: Anyone but Schatz
Illinois: Mark Kirk (R)
Indiana: Dan Coats (R)

Maryland: Chris Van Hollen (D)
New Hampshire: Kelly Ayotte (R)
Pennsylvania: Pat Toomey (R)
South Carolina: Tim Scott (R)
Utah: Mike Lee (R)
Wisconsin: Ron Johnson (R)

President:

Rand Paul, Scott Walker and Ted Cruz are all ranked highly in my book. I'd also enthusiastically support a Bobby Jindal, Mike Huckabee or John Kasich candidacy.

Senate:

CO: Darryl Glenn
NH: Kelly Ayotte
PA: Pat Toomey
SC: Tim Scott
UT: Mike Lee
WI: Ron Johnson

The Senate list is very much an early version.

Ann Kirkpatrick

Congress:
