Yeah, 4 years of continued austerity, a stagnant economy at best, continued cuts to social services, and a weakened currency are really something to rejoice about as long as you get to say f_ck you to immigrants.

I wonder who the Leave voters will blame in several years when things don't get much better.

Damn, ITV says this process of leaving the EU is going to take years. At least 2, probably more.

So?

It will take as long as it takes Wink

I will not cease from mental fight,
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand,
Till we have built Jerusalem
In England's green and pleasant land.

Congrats England.. you've done it!

Congrats England, you killed the UK.

All this referendum has proven is that you really CAN'T BARRAGE THE FARAGE

I'm amazed how low key Farage is tonight.

Must be drunk.

Congratulations to all those who are no doubt delighted: Putin shills, PRC bots, trots, fascists, Nazis, reprobates, people who plan on being dead in the next year, anti-Semites, peddlers of Violence, and those who despise Britain and wish to see the Perfidious Albion fail

Thank you for brining out the inner Anti Democrat in you. You proved that you have no place in a Democratic society, as you have just called out 52% of Britain, you must be lonely.

Any result needs to be respected, and stop insulting people.

Oh, I'm no anti-democrat. We've made our bed (after the most astonishingly anti-intellextual, sectarian and opportunistic of campaigns of recent memory). It's up to us how we react to it.

We have been sold a huge lie, and in the process blown centuries of this countries' reputation as a sober and stable constant force. And Johnson Give etc will rue the day they thought such disgusting sentiments would be a helpful booster for their careers.

Freely voted to tie their own noose. Well hopefully all the people that voted don't take it all back shortly as they loose badly economically.

Well, this is just a historic song, referring to something that no longer exists. I mean, who cares if you joke about Sumer and Akkad?

Does it mean anything that the margin has been narrowing again?

A small amount of economic pain is a small price to pay for the freedom of a nation.  I guess you would have been arguing for King George III in 1776.

I wouldn't call it just yet - substantial sections of East London are still out, as are Bristol, Cornwall, and traditional Tory areas that are a little more sceptical of leaving - furthermore, I think most of Leave's best areas have now come in. Still, a knife edge.

Nothing, really. Big chunks of Remain land have come in, and they barely moved the margin at all.
