Once the constitution gets approved, Nym will look a lot better.  He'll win unless Supersoulty picks a running mate from California, in which case, he could pick up the golden state and change the whole race.

Or pick a Democrat as a VP Smiley That would make the race ... razor thin close.

My possible predictions:
Supersoulty/Reaganfan
Supersoulty/Ford
Supersoulty/WildCard

I don't think I should be on Super's short list.  I haven't held any office yet.  It would be like if Bush dropped Cheney and picked up Bill O'Reilly or if Kerry picked Tom Brokaw.  It might make headlines, but it wouldn't inspire much confidence in the ticket.

Then again, Super has never held office either I think.

Supersoulty is former Governor of PA. Also, the VP selected needs to be thought of as a possible president as well.

This is true, the only ones who have held office are Nym and his cabinet.  But at least Super has run for office before.

To quote my favorite American general, William Tecumseh Sherman, "If nominated, I will not accept.  If elected, I will not serve."

I am not ready to run for Vice President or President, and will not be ready until I have held office somewhere.

I would be honored to be in the cabinet or if WildCard picked me for Lt. Gov. in the West, but I really believe I would be a drag on the ticket if Super picked me.

Well, that makes you much more qualified straight away. Smiley

If I win in Senate, then get the VP spot, who would take over?

The governor would appoint someone I think.

Sadly unless the regions constitution has a rule like that the Governor would get to appoint whoever he'd want...

And the australian.

It's a bugger-I think that any governor will appoint a member of the elected party though...

Nobody really runs for VP, they do their best to support their candidate for him to pick you.
