Whilst I'm no fan of Bush, I do realise that the Blue Avatar people will do something retaliatory, like take out Clinton if we take out Bush.

Rutherford B Hayes is my vote since he was actually pretty awful. Can we please get rid of Taylor at some point too.

Folks, I have a small favor to ask of all of you.

Please do not cast your vote by using the quote feature on somebody else's vote.   That makes things a little confusing for me at the end when I tally it all up.    Please just type in the name of the president you vote for.     Thanks.   Smiley

Is it over?

George W Bush

Erc, can I ask you why you voted Hayes to begin with? He was a great president who was in a tough spot but he came to a true agreement with his opponents. As president, I can't think of anything he did that was bad.

His opponent would have been a great president. He was a worthless, do nothing president who only got elected because some Republican hacks couldn't stand the fact that they lost to the southern party.

He stole an election and was married to a prohibitionist.  He ended Reconstruction in the worst way imaginable, and his own party even hated him after 4 years.  The only thing worthwhile he did that I can remember was mediate some dispute down in South America...Paraguay has a province called "Presidente Hayes."

Essentially, I tried to think of the most worthless President left, and his was the first that came to mind.  Although arguably Pierce or Arthur are even worse.  Nope, Arthur's definitely better.  Ok, maybe I should have voted Pierce, but I felt we needed a change from the 1840's / 50's time period.
