Alright folks.   We have yet to determine who has been voted off in the last round.  We apparently have a tie between Zachary Taylor and Andrew Johnson.   Atleast that's my best guess and that's what I'm gonna have to go by.   I just want to remind everyone please don't vote twice and please do not delete your old posts.   Even if you mess up, please leave the post up so that when I go back and tally up the vote I know for sure if and where there was a mistake.

Anyways, the tie-breaker between Zachary Taylor and Andrew Johnson is going on right now in the What if Thread.   And it will continue until 1:30 a.m. where hopefully we'll know who's gone.

In the mean time, I'm gonna let you all get started for Round 9.   If you think you'll plan to vote for either Zachary Taylor or Andrew Johnson (depending on which one stays on the island this round), then I want to ask you to just hang tight and wait until the tie breaker is over.    If you plan to vote for anybody else, you may go ahead and do so.   So anyways, have fun.   Smiley

UPDATE (1:30 eastern):   The tie breaker is over and we know now that Andrew Johnson has been voted off the island.   So Andrew Johnson is out, and Zachary Taylor is still in.   Thank you all for your patience.   Smiley

dude, you do realize W's a ways off from getting voted off.  Lincoln may be a long shot, but I think we might be snowballing towards getting him kicked off, hence round 8.

Milk_and_cereal, what have you done...

All non-Democrats:

Rally to Hayes!!!  TO HAYES!!!

(or, to make it really intense, for LBJ.  Or, to make this a full-blown mudfest, FDR...oh, that would be fun...)

In any event, whichever of the three gets the next vote, vote for him!
