On the Tories. Like, lol, "one of our ministers is secretly a member of the opposition party that opposes her very own policies." Oops.

And for Labour it's "we kept someone in our party and sent her a membership ballot despite the fact she's been a Tory minister for months".

Armando Iannucci must be laughing his head off.

Wouldn't it be immensely funny if it turned out the only party she's not a member of is the Tories?

So the UK's Bernie Sanders has become the new leader of the Labour Party?

That's an insult to Bernie Sanders.

The best comparison I can find is Bill De Blasio.

I think Jeremy Corbyn is more of a sane Lyndon LaRouche to be honest. Not that a sane Lyndon LaRouche is particularly easy to picture.

Corbyn for all his faults isn't an awful person, or tared with scandal like other UK leftists like George Galloway, Dianne Abbott and Red Ken

Considering LaRouche's defining trait is his insanity, I'm not sure what you're saying at all.

Unfortunately, some of his foreign policy/defence views are distracting at best... which may end up getting moderated... leading to accusations of being a sell-out.

I note that he's asking supporters to send him questions for PMQs. My first thought was "Can he not think of any of his own?", my second was "I pity the poor person at One Brewer's Green [Labour HQ] who is going to have to deal with all of those".

If Lyndon LaRouche was sane, he would not be Lyndon LaRouche.

I also find LaRouche to be a very underappreciated-- if only from a humour/"interesting-ness" perspective-- figure.

As I've grown to despise British politics, I'm now hoping for even more chaos, for which the next opportunity will come soon enough in the form of a vote to leave the EU. Everything burns.
