I’m making this thread for any announcements, appointments, or whatnot that I need to do.

My first act as Governor is to appoint Ilikeverin as Lt. Governor.

Are you going to certify the results of the vote on the ratification of the new Constitution?

Okay, the first problem I hope to eliminate is the deficit.  I am creating a Budget Research Committee which will give me detailed info on the Budget and suggestions on how to tackle the deficit.

There will be three members on the Committee.  PBrunsel is currently the only one to accept my invitation;  two others have been contacted, but haven't said yea or nay, yet.

After the deficit is addressed, I hope to take the Constitution back to the Convention floor.  First, I shall put a Public proposition on the June ballot to determine whether this should be done.

The drafting of voters to our Region has lead me to the conclusion that the Midwest has absolutely no population Wink  If you have any suggestions, please tell me.

Okay. Some more updates at the Governor’s Mansion:

The Budget Research Committee now has its second member, Ilikeverin.

I don’t think I can find any new Midwesterners to draft for our Region, which isn’t so bad since we became a much bigger region after I proposed this idea.  So, unless three active Midwesterners from all sides of the political spectrum crop up out of nowhere, I won’t be drafting any new members this May.
