Liberty University is accredited at least as opposed to Bob Jones and Champion Baptist and all the other fly by nights in the South. They are definitely a Christian biased school, but they at least maintain standards in fields of math, english, engineering, etc. Biology probably not, but whatever.
The bigger quotation is the use of "Liberty." I used to assume liberty and freedom were synonyms, but it's quite clear now that liberty has turned into a word for freedom of all people to abide by strict white Christian expectations.
Amazingly, Liberty even manages to do real biological research as well despite believing the Earth is 6000 years old and evolution is false.

Of course, conservative politicians would never send their kids to George Mason U, Liberty, etc. - only the Ivy Leagues or equivalent for their children. The purpose of these universities is for speaking engagements and rallies, nothing more.
