Again, I'm really sorry for those who were confused about the tie-breaker last night.  From now on, if there is a tie in who gets voted off the island, it'll work the same as last night.

1.  The tie will go to the Election "What If" forum.   And I'll do it with a poll.

2.  THe tie breaker will last 1 hour and will go to 1 a.m. eastern time.

3.  To clear up any confussion, I will present the poll options like this:

Option 1:   Keep Jackson, Eliminate Harding

Option 2:   Keep Harding, Eliminate Jackson.

If their is a tie between 3 or more presidents, I will simply ask which president do you wish to eliminate, and present all the options in the poll.

If the poll also ties, I suggest the following as the second tiebreaker: whoever received the greatest number of votes in the previous round could be eliminated.

Great idea.  Smiley   I just hope it never gets that far and that the poll will be good enough to break the die.   If we get up to round 30 or 35 and we have it come down to that, it's gonna be a real pain to go back and count all the votes starting from round 1

Keep all the results in a spreadsheet so it would be easy to do if it ever did get that far.

How about just eliminating both of them until we get down to about 25 people?
