http://www.maristpoll.marist.edu/nycpolls/AM050427.htm

Don't know what caused this major turnaround for Bloomberg and Marist doesn't give enough details on the sample to see whether it's bad, but all said Bloomberg has certainly improved his position compared to last month:

Against the major Democrat candidates:

Bloomberg 51%, Freddy Ferrer 38%
Bloomberg 47%, Virginia Fields 41%
Bloomberg 48%, Anthony Weiner 36%
Bloomberg 50%, Gifford Miller 36%

Deserves Re-election: 47%
Time to Elect Someone Else: 48%

Approval rating (Zogby-style):  48% (Excellent/Good), 51% (Fair/Poor)

Wow Ferrer has really dropped. I could've sworn months ago that I saw a poll with him leading Bloomberg.

It was the same Marist poll (March version).  This is the April version

I guarantee that if Ferrer wins the primary, he'll piss off the blacks and lose quite handily.  I said that before, and I'll say that now.  Smiley

The best shot for the Democrats is Virginia Fields, out of all of the potential challengers.
