I re-evaluated the Truman legacy, and felt his reigning in of post-WWII excesses alone deserves top 5 recognition on this list.
You misunderstood the point of this Maxie: I made this to see where the denizens of Atlasia go where voices are concerned. How do they come off in their speeches without much of
any context.
Who sounds the best
I'm not talking about general legacies or overall.
For goodness sake there's a reason people say radio listeners thought Nixon beat Kennedy at the debates.
But if you liked how Carter carried himself during the 1979 "Malaise" speech. If you're not a fan of Obama's oration style. If Kennedy's Bostonian/British accent is a turn-off, well okay.
My opinion of Reagan is low, very very low, but I'll give him credit for having a compelling voice...which makes sense given he was an actor. Had he not made silly jumbles such as "Buenos Aires is the Capital of Brazil"...I couldn't argue too much against his oration.
And Ford would not be towards the bottom, he was a decent enough President, but how he speaks is about as uninspiring as a leader can get and he flubbed quite a bit ("No Soviet Domination").
Point is, I'm more after the oration than the policies.
