I'm not sure what Le Monde is reporting, but AFP/I-télé is saying that the Porte de Vincennes motherf-cker has been 'neutralized' without being able to say if he's dead or alive.

Some background on the Charlie Hedbo killers from the BBC. Sounds like they both had a long history of being involved with al-Qaeda and/or its affiliates. And being familiar to counter-terrorist authorities and law enforcement.
