Canada - Christian Heritage unless my riding was close
United Kingdom - UKIP for Euro, Tories/SNP/Plaid/Sinn Fein depending on where I lived, locally the BNP could get a few votes.

really? I thought you'd be more for Fianna Fáil since they're the huge anti-EU folks. And you'd vote for the socialist Sinn Fein?

Germany -  FDP
Spain - Depends. There a number of regionalist parties I'd vote for: Union of the Navaran Peple(Navarra), Basque Nationalist Party)Basque Country), Canarian Coalition(Canary Islands), and Convergence and Union(Catalonia). In the rest of the country PP.
Portugal - PSD or PP, depending on the leader
France - FN or the Philippe de Villiers party I forgot the name.
Italy - House of Freedom Coalition. I mean, what choice do i have.
Australia - Nationals or Liberals, depending on my constituency,
Canada - Conservatives.
United Kingdom - UKIP unless my constituency was close, if it was then Tories.
Ireland - Progressive Democrats.

OK, 1st, Family First=evil.
2nd, you can vote for minor parties without stealing votes from the major parties (so you can vote greens instead of ALP, etc)
3rd, the Nationals only run in country electorates, and basically only in QLD, NSW and VIC.
And 4th, the Aussie Labor Party has no u, because they changed it back in the 1800s pretty much as part of the anti-English sentiment felt at the time (The ALP has/had strong ties with the Irish Catholic community)

As for my votes:

Germany-SDP, I suppose.
Spain-No idea. Don't like either major party.
Portugal-Socialists, I suppose.
France-Honestly don't know
Italy-Non-aligned centrists
Australia-not coalition, ONP or FFP, but not ALP or the Greens. I wish the Democrats didn't self-destruct Sad
Canada-Liberals, probably
UK-LibDem if they're a good local rep, otherwise Labour
Ireland-I don't know anything about their politics

Germany - Greens
Spain - PSOE probably. ERC in Catalonia. EA in Guipúzcoa.
Portugal - PS or BE, depends on the province
France - Gauche Plurielle. WHich member party depends on the region/constituency.
Italy - L'Ulivo
Australia - Labour before Coalition. First preference definitely non-major party.
Canada - NDP. Might vote tactically though.
United Kingdom - Depends on constituency (both tactical and personal considerations). Labour, LD, Greens, SSP, Nats all possibilities, in declining order of importance. Alliance or strongest Nat party in Northern Ireland.
Ireland - Greens/Labour/FG/SF/FF/PD in that order of preferences.

Basically if they don't have extremist social views, have fairly left/centre views on economics. If the SPD are running someone who is either corrupt or very incompetent it would make such a decision easier.

I dislike the FF leadership and a stronger Sinn Fein means stronger push for unification.

many of those parties are hardly mainstream. Front National are Nazi sympathizers whose candidate lost to the mainstream conservative party's candidate in the run off (yes, Chirac is a conservative, whether you like him or not), and Lega Nord are crazy, racist seperatists. UKIP aren't exactly mainstream either since as far as I know they don't have a single seat in Parliment as of yet.

I am unfamiliar with many of these countries politics, so I did the research. I admit that I should learn more.  If I lived in some of these countries, I would have a better idea.

Germany - SPD
Spain - PSOE
Portugal - PS
France - PS
Italy - Democratici di Sinistra
Australia - ALP
Canada - NDP
United Kingdom - Liberal Democrats
Ireland - Labour

If they have significant presence in the country's politics, I counted them. The UKIP did very well in the EU elections and will have an affect on the Westminster Elections and the FN holds a significant portion of the French Assembly.  Lega Nord is in the same boat as the FN.
