Pretty much the one of the most bipartisan candidates against one who had a repuatation for being the least.

If Breaux hadn't retired, he'd have won a fourth term.

But post-2008, he'd have basically never voted for anything the Democrats proposed, including the ACA, and he would have had to retire in 2010 or else get Blanched.
