You know the drill.

1 Dred Scott v. Sanford - Obviously enough, but also because it doesn't even make sense within its confines. The Court had already determined Scott had the legal standing of a lamp-post; it should have ended there, but apparently Taney and his cronies really wanted to screw over black people that day. Utterly awful.
2. Plessy v. Ferguson (OH THE IRONY) - Dred Scott II, with the bonus of ing over black people much longer than Dred Scott.
3. Bush v. Gore - Say what you will about the recount, the Bush II administration was clearly one of the worst on record - and it was this decision that made it all happen.
4. Citizens United - Hello, de facto plutocracy!
5. McCulloch v. FEC - Citizens United the Lesser.

That had nothing to do with the case. And that's, like, your opinion, man,

In the long run, I'm not opposed to Bush v Gore. Despite the justices' best attempts to deny it, it established a precedent for equal protection of the law when it come to voting procedures that is increasingly coming into play

The Bush vs. Gore decision was arguably worse than the Dred Scott decision.

I'll copy my top 10 worst from another topic:

Korematsu v. United States
Dred Scott v. Sanford
Lochner v. New York
Schenck v. United States
Kelo v. City of New London
Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad
Plessy v. Ferguson
Morse v. Frederick
Citizens United v. FEC
Gonzales v. Raich

I'd rank Korematsu as the absolute worst decision ever handed down by SCOTUS. It is a complete and total violation of the Constitution on numerous counts. It's mind-boggling to me how otherwise excellent Justices Black and Douglas voted that way.
