I wanted to start this thread so we can discuss some of the contestants a bit earlier. I almost shat myself when I found out the Bosnian-Herezegovinan entry was "Feminnem". Not only was the nameplay stupid, but, well...listen to their song:

yeah, we import American Idol but nobody watches it. Eurovision is a lot different to Idol though.

I know it's a tad off-topic, but American Idol sucks.  I hate it so much I'm getting angry just thinking about it.

Being in the music industry ought to be a struggle.  It may be a slightly Darwinian outlook, but the good musicians get to be big because they struggled to get the attention and build up their fan base from scratch.  I should know.

American Idol basically shows a bunch of stupid kids who can't play instruments or write their own songs (usually), murdering classic songs by people who could.  The "judges" know jack-sh**t about actual music itself, all they care about is making sure that their puppet can sell records to support the record company's asses.  And I really want to punch Simon Cowell in the face.  He's a joke.  He doesn't even listen to the songs any more, he just plans his next bitchy put-down to try and support his 'evil' persona that made him famous in the first place.

Not that any of that matters much anyway, because the anointed stars usually produce one or two bad songs and then fade away into the obscurity of pseudo-celebrityhood.

As for Eurovision, I have no idea what that is.

How does it come that Vanilla Ninja runs for SWITZERLAND? I tought they were from one of the Baltic countries?

Anyway, I don´t have a clue who most of the performers on this list are. And the few I know totally suck (as always...).

I've only heard the song once and I didn't like it. It could well improve on repeated listening, but there's only going to be one shot on the night.
