So of the non-Sandoval candidates, that leaves Krolicki or Roberson. Per Ralston, Sandoval might have a major session ahead - would he be able to leave that in Hutchison's hands? Ralston said waiting till that ends is dicey timing.

Democrats would be better if Reid retired. That said, the electorate should be only about 60-61% white in this presidential year and Hillary would start out favored in what should be a lean D state.

Even before the disastrous 2014 election, the Democratic bench was hardly impressive.
And Reid's reputation of ruthlessness might be the reason why strong opponents like Heck and Amodei refuse to run against him and Sandoval has cold feet.

Would Hardy run just to avoid another campaign against Horsford?

He's not even on the list, so doubtful.

Reid probably wins again. I think Bennett is the most vulnerable Democratic Senator up in 2016.

The new Assembly Speaker won't be it. He's Gohmert-level batsh**t.

I'm sure that Sheldon Adelson must be thrilled that he gave all that money to Republicans only to have an anti-Israel speaker in his own backyard.

Hardy is a nobody so I doubt he has strategically thought about it.

As to the assembly speaker, LOL. I wouldn't be surprised to see Adelson pull some strings to get him removed.

It speaks volumes about the state DEMs in Nevada that this is the case.

If Sandoval does run, Reid will lose in a landslide. Most likely 60%-40%.

Any chance of a rematch against Angle?  Her "campaign" provided so much fun and laughter Id really love to see her back on the stage or rather in her case literally running from reporters ~!

Yup. Everyone likes to assume that Sandoval would crush Reid but that's anything but the truth. Reid is ruthless and would tear Sandoval's reputation to shreds and bring down the full force of his machine, so even if Sandoval did win he'd no longer be insanely popular, and it would certainly be very close.
