This is one of about 6 races that I'm very uncomfortable making a call on at this point.

My prediction at the moment has Baker winning by 2-3% but it is Massachusetts so... that naturally gives me pause for thought. However, I remember it's against Martha Coakley, so I feel a bit better about my prediction. But absolutely NOT certain in it.

Baker gets under 50%, but wins with about 47% of the vote.

He will get a majority and be the savior the Republican party needs.

But really? Probably 47-48%, just enough to beat Brokely

I'd say Choakley just barely convinces enough unmotivated Dems to turn out for her and wins 47.5%-47.3% (or in that general neighborhood).

I have a feeling that this is going to be uglier for Coakley than thought. Democrats are already blaming her for the loss that hasn't happened yet. Her ground game is going to be very weak, and I think a chunk of voters are going to swing hard against her at the last moment, just like last time.

It's incredibly sexist to suggest that he might get over 50% of the vote. Please delete this thread.
