Well, a surprisngly clear result, although I have to admit that I simply chose "Neutral" on all issues I didn´t know much about (wtf is a "council tax"?)...

Liberal Democrat: 27
Labour: 6
Green: 3
UKIP: -5
Conservative: -10

That I´m supposed to favor UKIP over the Tories is absolute nonsense.

Labour -14
Conservative -61
Liberal Democrat 82 - whoa!
UKIP -8
Green 34

My pro-EU responses are probably what gave me such strong scores.

I'm guessing my pro-Eurpe, anti-Iraq war answers were what gave me such a high Lib Dem score.  The UKIP over Labour though, WTF?

Quite a bad test actually: no questions on the New Deal, the DTI, government spending, whether there should be tax credits or not... etc, etc, etc.

Yikes. That's a VERY clear result.
LD 82
Green 3
Labour 2
UKIP -28
Tories -70

I had a problem with the following question:
Transport
Fuel and vehicle excise duty should be replaced with a national system of road charging
A national system of road charging should be introduced. Fuel and vehicle excise duty should not be scrapped.

In case anyone's confused about a weird result, I'll repeat this:

"Quite a bad test actually: no questions on the New Deal, the DTI, government spending, whether there should be tax credits or not... etc, etc, etc."

In addition some questions have nothing to do with party policy.

This is probably the worst. I ended up with the DUP as my top choice...As a Catholic that unnerves me somewhat,

Ah yes, that test. I got SNP first, Respect second, SF third. Shocked LD are sixth, Labour 8th, Tories dead last.

Got Labour first and LibDems second, which isn´t totally incorrect... you only have to switch those two.

But the rest was a bit screwed. I had DUP before UKIP before Conservatives, although my actual preference for those parties would be exactly the other way around (Tories - UKIP - DUP).

I think the questioning is bad but my first position Labour is spot on Smiley despite it being a lousy test

Here's my list (ignoring ignoring nationalist and Unionist parties):

1) Labour
2) British National Party
3) Conservatives
4) UKIP
5) Respect
6) Green
7) Liberal Democrats

After taking the test, I can only conclude that the UK has horrific tax and social laws..."council tax", "fuel and excise duty", asylum seekers living on state benefits, 100K a year (about 240 000 American) taxed at 50%!!

I don't think a choice as minor as Tory vs Labour can make much difference would make much difference.

Oh yeah, for what it's worth: Tory +23; UKIP +14; Green +12 [!]; Labour -5; LibDem -32
