Only 1% of liberal Democrats are enthusiastic about someone else? Boy, I feel alone.

Funny how the highest percentage of Tea Partiers are excited for Romney, yet they make the argument that too many of them stayed home due to a lack thereof.

You're not an independent? If you were, you'd be part of the 0%. Tongue

Don't be silly, Hillary inspires no enthusiasm whatsoever. DEMOCRATS DON'T WANT HER AND ARE HUNGRY FOR AN ALTERNATIVE! Wink

But seriously, this poll is garbage for several reasons. For one, >YouGov. Secondly, literally no candidate would "crack 50%" (assuming that's even the goal) in this question 2 years before the presidential election. Ever. Not Obama in 2006. Not Bush in 1998. Not Reagan in 1978...etc.

I know liberalism has basically become a joke in the United States at this point, but how anyone is excited for Clinton (or anyone from that generation of Dems) is mind numbing.

What's so hard to understand about it? The Democratic Party adores Hillary.

The Democrats should be excited for Hillary, Sanders, or maybe O'Malley.

You are clearly such a fan of Hillary that you put what must be the absolute butt-ugliest picture of her you could possibly find in your signature. I know she's packed on some pounds, but what's the message here? She's as fat as the moon?? Has such an inflated ego that it's as big as Pluto?? The mind boggles...

Nothing has happened yet, of course nobody's excited about anything yet. I do find it hilarious though that more tea partiers are exited for Romney and Rubio than generic Republicans.

Are you real?

Yes, I know O'Malley is unexciting, but he's a progressive.

Women are excited about Hillary. That's as much 2016 as anyone is aware of. Numbers will be higher soon... But sure, a Bush-Clinton race in a recovering economy might be a relatively low turnout election.

I'm sure "Hilldawg" is a fan of these flattering comparisons you've come up with. As I said before, the butt-uglist picture you could possibly find!

I suppose your latest might be a marginal improvement. Still, it resembles something a James Bond villain might come up with!

I much prefer my precious Azu-nyan picture. Bold and inspiring... yet cute and cuddly!

This thread should be retitled: more people are enthusiastic about Hillary Clinton than the Top 5 GOP challengers combined.

They like Romney more than Ben Carson and Ted Cruz, which is probably the funniest part of this and shows what a joke the TEA Party is.

Oh, oops. I figured it was since it was CBS/NYT sponsored (just like YouGov) and came out the exact same day as the other YouGov polls. I revoke the first part of my comment. Second part still stands.

Not just the top 5, but all Republican candidates. Tongue While 24% of Democrats are enthusiastic about Hillary, only 21% of Republicans are actually excited about any single one of their politicians. Tongue Cheesy
