Amazing comeback wins with 2 outs and 2 strikes in the 9th inning of Game 7s are cool the first time around. By the 5th or 6th time, it just gets annoying.

They're also the most traditionally successful team of the ten. The Yankees would probably top the list if they made the cut. Memphis isn't much of a baseball town, but the fans we do have are almost always Cardinals fans, unless they moved here from a different city with a team, of course. I don't care much about any professional sport, but, to me, it seems incredibly dull to like to the same team as everybody else in town. As a I write this, I'm actually wearing a Milwaukee Brewers shirt that I bought  a few years back when I was visiting a friend up there. I think I may be the only person in the state of Tenneseee with a Brewers shirt.

You know what's odd?  I don't think I've ever met a Brewers fan.  I've been in and around the military for almost 2 decades now so I've run into people from everywhere.  Twins fans, Mariners fans, Padres fans even....but never, that I recall, a Brewers fan...and I've met dozens of Packer fans so it's not like I'm not running into people from the area.
