I did not watch and had not planned to.

My reasons for not watching:

1. I kinda hate the idea. It all seems really unnecessary to me. Gordon as a young cop isn't very compelling to me and I think the idea of villains popping up before we see them "down the road" or whatever is corny to me. I got all the origin stories I needed in Batman Beings. Admittedly, this could be something to be disproven if I actually watched it and I suppose that continuity and mythos of comic book characters is always in flux but whatever...

2. I'm way behind on television shows that I actually watch as it is.

3. I've become a complete snob and refuse to watch dramas that are on network television.

I'm probably being unfair to it.

also, in before someone makes this another referendum on the Nolan films.

Yeah, as PK said, the whole idea turns me off. I have this very set idea of what Batman should be and this show kinda goes against it. Plus I don't really watch network television shows that have a plot because I just forget to watch some weeks, and then I have to catch up, and that's a hassle.

It's on the DVR, but I'm not in a hurry to watch it.

I'm still bitter about the potential copyright infringement.

It definitely has promise, but the dialogue is really, really bad. I hope they improve on that.
