Sanders. He's basically your run-of-the-mill social democrat by European standards. Put him in the parliament of any Western country other than the US and he wouldn't raise an eyebrow.

Ron Paul, on the other hand, delves into kookiness that is bizarre by the standards of both liberals and conservatives. And his ideology has a tendency to attract some very nasty people whose notions of race and global institutions are often bigotry masquerading as skepticism.

What would his ideology be? Paleolibertarianism?

That's a fair description.
