Collins 57
Bellows 33

Unfortunate news. It seems like the people of Maine want to give Mitch his 51st.

That's a smaller margin than I expected.

That makes sense. Which means the result is awful.

This poll confirms what we already knew: Bellows has no chance.

She's a good, moderate Senator. A truly rare breed. She deserves it.

That's like saying Charles Albright is a moderate serial killer because he only killed three people.

A moderate wouldn't support Mitch McConnell at nearly every turn. I don't think her voting record is all that moderate as of late, anyway.

The people who are mocking Collins and expressing disgust are the ones that truly cannot look past party like she can. There's a reason she's beloved in such a blue state.

Great news for people who like sharing highways with sleeping truck drivers.

The real question is whether or not she'll hit 70%.

Snowe exceeded 70 at one point in a Democratic massacre year, and Collins is just as popular in a good Rep year. If you would look past the R next to her name, you'd realize she is one of the few good senators we have, regardless of MUH PARTY
