Sen. Claire McCaskill may be a vulnerable senator up for re-election in 2018, if she runs for a third term. Which Republican can beat her, who can't?

Probably anyone besides Todd Akin.

Ann Wagner seems the likeliest bet.

This. She could win, too.

She's a little too Akin like, bit of a lose cannon.

You're probably right. She may say stupid things and could cost the GOP from winning that seat.

My congresswoman Vicky Hartzler has a decent chance of blowing it. Most others would fairly comfortably win, however.

It'd be funny if Matt Blunt would run and win, assuming that Roy Blunt won in 2016.

Matt Blunt, Ann Wagner, Jo Ann Emerson and Sarah Steelman could defeat Claire McCaskill fairly easily, while Todd Akin and Vicky Hartzler would probably end up losing. I agree that McCaskill is one of the most vulnerable Democratic Senate incumbents in 2018, right alongside Joe Donnelly, Jon Tester, Heidi Heitkamp and Joe Manchin.

I'd be happy with Matt Blunt or Ann Wagner.  Wagner's probably a safer bet though.

Didn't Matt Blunt leave office fairly unpopular?

Somewhat. That's why he announced he wasn't seeking re-election. I don't know if he can do well in 2018 if he did run against McCaskill. We'll see.

I would say Graves or Steelman, Ann Wagner seems a little icky with her new video.

Please tell me you're joking. This is a non-story. Ann Wagner would still be the Republicans' best and perhaps only chance and I will endorse her. Claire McCaskill's legislating like a Senator from Vermont despite representing Missouri in the Senate. She needs to be ousted.

Leahy and Sanders are objectively more liberal than McCaskill.
