An InsiderAdvantage/Opinion Savvy survey of 719 likely voters shows both the contests for U.S. Senate and for governor of Georgia to be competitive races. The poll of ‘landline' and mobile device respondents was conducted August 12 and 13. The poll has a margin of error of 3.7%. Two recent and relatively reputable polls had Carter up nearly double digits, not sure how this race can be anything but a toss-up.

Yeah. My bet is that Carter wins and Nunn loses, but it's definitely possible to see them both losing and somewhat possible to see them both winning. And even though the Senate race was considered competitive first, it kinda makes sense now. Deal is a lot weaker than Perdue, and Senate races are more nationalized.
