Now that the bloodbath that was the governor primaries are over, who will win the general? Ige is clearly the favorite because, well, Hawaii, but early polls have shown Aiona being formidable, sometimes even leading. I'll cautiously go Ige. Seems like a chill guy, actually.

Ige easily. Third parties usually fade and anti-Abercrombie Dems come home. Plus, 1-party state.

Why is Aiona even showing then? Honestly I am more interested in the Senate primary.

This poll is missing the third-party candidate, Mufi Hannemann.

Ige, but probably more narrowly than expected.

Mufi Hanneman isn't going to win, which is why he wasn't put in the poll.

He's still a major candidate who is polling at above 10% in every poll since he announced his run.

The only poll I've seen (which was from February, so take it with a grain of salt), was Aiona leading Ige by 14 points.

Ige, but considering how off the HI polls were (always are), we won't know till November.

I did a Google Image Search for David Ige, and among the first few results was a black man kissing a black woman's naked breast.  For this reason, I'll say David Ige will win in November.

Ige should win, unless Democrat infighting persists.

Ige, by a smaller than expected but sufficient margin.

Ige should win. Aiona just doesn't seem to have what it takes to defeat him.

Less than 1/3 of Democrats voted against Ige. I don't think unity should be a huge issue.

To be honest, I think that if for some reason Ige would call Abercrombie and ask him to come campaign with him, Abercrombie would be there in a heart beat. Though I don't think that would help Ige.

Abercrombie actually went to Ige's election party and enthusiastically endorsed him and gave a speech. So yeah.

Since Aiona leads in the polls, if Ige wins by half a point it won't be smaller than expected.

He lead in one poll (a Hawaii poll, mind you), against Ige.

I'm waiting for someone to poll the race now that Ige won.

Hawaii polls are always garbage. If this election ends up looking like the polls, that'd be unexpected.
