Haha, yeah, it was a weird experience asking a bunch of people wearing blue shirts and earpieces whether or not they could locate a specific player for me and receiving a bunch of 'f off' glares in return, until someone was kind enough to explain to me that people thought I was some sort of spy/troll for the other side and that Ingress players aren't actually this rude/socially retarded. So I followed him to the meet up point for all players (must have been a couple hundred there at least) looked for someone with a 'BRTD' shirt which was surprisingly easy since BRTD is really tall. With perfect weather enchanting our rendezvous, we talked for a few minutes until the games began.
