For the Democrats...

Hillary Clinton - Labour (Blairite)
Joe Biden - Labour
Brian Schweitzer - Liberal Democrats
Andrew Cuomo - Conservatives (Cameroon)
Martin O'Malley - Labour
Howard Dean - Liberal Democrats (social democratic wing)
Bernie Sanders - Labour (Ed Miliband with backbone)
Joe Manchin - Conservatives
Jim Webb - Unsure

And the Republicans...

John Bolton - Conservatives (a very hawkish one in the mould of William Hague and Liam Fox)
Jeb Bush - Conservatives
Chris Christie - Conservatives (Cameroon)
Ted Cruz - UKIP
Mike Huckabee - You'd think UKIP but I'd put him as an Ann Widdecombe Tory
Jon Huntsman - Conservatives (Cameroon)
Bobby Jindal - Conservatives (Firmly on the right of the party)
Peter King - See John Bolton
Rand Paul - UKIP
Mike Pence - UKIP
Rick Perry - UKIP
Marco Rubio - Right-wing Tory or UKIP
Paul Ryan (Staunch Thatcherite)
Rick Santorum - See Mike Huckabee
Scott Walker - See Paul Ryan

Hillary Clinton - Liberal-Democrats (I can imagine her as having been an 80's SDPer)
Joe Biden - Labour
Brian Schweitzer - Labour
Andrew Cuomo - Labour or the Lib-Dems (probably a very big Blairite in the former)
Martin O'Malley - Labour
Howard Dean - Labour
Bernie Sanders - Labour
Joe Manchin - Labour
Jim Webb - Conservative

John Bolton - Conservative
Jeb Bush - Conservative
Chris Christie - Conservative
Ted Cruz - UKIP
Mike Huckabee - UKIP
Jon Huntsman - Conservative
Bobby Jindal - Conservative
Peter King - Sinn Fein of course Wink
Rand Paul - Conservative (think Douglas Carswell Tongue)
Mike Pence - Conservative
Rick Perry - UKIP
Marco Rubio - Conservative
Paul Ryan - Conservative
Rick Santorum - UKIP
Scott Walker - Conservative

Of course, one should remember that background, in addition to ideology, is also very important in determining which party one belongs to. For example, whilst Andrew Cuomo might hold what could be described as right-wing positions on economic matters, his father didn't, thus I think he would have ended up as a very Blairite member of the Labour party.

Joe Manchin would be one of those former Labour right wingers, now turned UKIP.

Democrats:

Hillary Clinton - Liberal Democrat
Joe Biden - Labour
Brian Schweitzer - Hard to call, favours single-payer health care while very pro-gun... either on the right fringe of the Lib Dems, or a hard-right Labourite.
Andrew Cuomo - Orange Book Liberal Democrat
Martin O'Malley - Labour
Howard Dean - Liberal Democrat
Bernie Sanders - Green
Joe Manchin - Would have been Labour in the past, now likely a Conservative.
Jim Webb - One Nation Conservative

Republicans:

John Bolton - Conservative
Jeb Bush - Conservative
Chris Christie - One Nation Conservative
Ted Cruz - UKIP
Mike Huckabee - Conservative (Cornerstone faction)
Jon Huntsman - See Chris Christie
Bobby Jindal - Straddling the line between Conservatives and UKIP
Peter King - Sinn Fein in NI, Tory outside of NI
Rand Paul - UKIP or hard-right Conservative
Mike Pence - UKIP
Rick Perry - UKIP
Marco Rubio - Conservative, on the right fringe of the party
Paul Ryan - Conservative (Thatcherite faction)
Rick Santorum - Conservative (Cornerstone faction)
Scott Walker - See Paul Ryan
