As a private establishment, they hold the right to ban anyone or anything they want for any reason they want. What is the story here?

There's a national movement of obese and short young men who think the 2nd Amendment is the right to make America look like Somalia.

And there are national corporations that will prevent them from doing it in their establishments.

The story is that some gun nuts were so obnoxious in making use of open carry that Chipotle changed its policy from allowing open carry in states where it is legal to banning open carry within all its restaurants.  The gun nuts shot themselves in the foot on this one, so to speak.

Wow, and they both just had to be literal caricatures of what every liberal thinks every gun owner is like.

Some people are surely complaining than it's a violation of the 2nd amendment.

Open carry was protesting in the strongly gay neighborhood/bars in Dallas on Sunday.

Without the crazies, we wouldn't know where to draw the line. Now we know. Open carry is basically impossible in densely populated areas.

Thanks, open-carry-nuts.

Since when was lack of a clue a detriment in American politics? I mean, Dick Morris was a top adviser to Bill Clinton, and even the stupidest person on this thread is more intelligent than Dick Morris.

And this is just the reaction to the article on MSNBC!  Who knows what the dark side of the internet is saying right now.

Nothing's more American than bringing an assault rifle to a burrito place for no reason.

I wonder if that guy will also sue if a preschool strips its preschoolers of their second amendment right to carry loaded AK-47s around.

I'd wonder what would happen if a Hispanic or Black openly carried guns into a restaurant those gun nuts normally frequent, except I'm afraid I already know the answer.

I think the gun nut reaction to the article depends on whether the story included the image of the dufuses (dufi?) that caused this. MSNBC didn't, but on articles that did show it as opposed to just mentioning it, there was a lot of backlash by 30 year combat Marine vets who said fatty needed to go to Camp Pendleton and run the 892523490 drills until he lost some weight.

I carry concealed (but I've never been to Chipolte) and an old greasy Greek boy like me wouldn't think of not wearing a jacket or hoodie or whatever over it.  I don't need some weekend warrior cop pointing his gun at my head wondering if I'm carrying for nefarious purposes.  It's just stupid.

Those two aren't doing very well to combat the stereotype that gun nuts are trying to overcompensate for their shortcomings...no pun intended.

Granted, the comments section of any news article is invariably seven levels of awful.  My point was that if that's the type of comment seen on MSNBC, who knows how things are going on Fox or Facebook.

I have a feeling that these people sign up just to argue with the "libtards" at MSNBC. It can't be that much worse at Fox Tongue.
