No, I don't regret it, because I finished school successfully three months early.  I made so much progress through the fall and winter months that I was able to finish early, successfully.  Now, I could probably have slowed down a bit and gotten a higher score, but that doesn't deny the fact that I did complete the program successfully.

bushie i dont understand how you made so much progress when 1. your attendance was horrible.  2.  you spent over a month re-doing assignments.

I still attended 90% of the time.  Trust me, I did the work, you did not.  I went too fast and that caused me to have to go back and correct the assignments.

Whoever did that is so messed up. You don't screw with people's lives like that even if they share too much.

Where is the email?

I won't accept BS about someone's hard drive getting destroyed, either.

I will Darrell Issa the hell out of whoever contacted Russ Powers.

I actually remember that. I believe it was another one of those "Simfan is taking things too far" moments. Not sure if it was a legitimate e-mail or not.

On the topic of the poll... does anyone else notice that when there is no update, the numbers get quite close, 53-47-ish, but when update comes back... it blows out to 56-43/57-42 of those who don't miss this.

Update is the lifeblood of the forum. If it dies, the forum community dies. I think I speak for several of us that would agree we visit Atlas far less when Update is on hiatus than when it's in session.

I don't even care about US politics anymore.

I am seriously considering sending the Update back into hiatus.  It's starting to get boring, to be honest.

Without someone chronically interrogating him who also carries formal authority on the board, he must feel like a lost puppy (RIP JJ).

Yeah, at least Inks did one positive thing on his way out.

I think the problem here is that you're such a chronic liar that people really can't trust you when you say things. But hey, an entertaining chronic liar, AMIRITE?

Doesn't sound like it. I fear Papa Allison put more strings on Bushie's proposal than he wants to tell us.

'Fraid so...  Ugh!!!   An Independence Day proposal under the light of the fireworks, with the aroma of grilled hamburgers and freedom in the air, with the lord looking down from above with a wink 'n' smile as if to say... "Bushie, the day is yours"...

WHY COULDN'T THIS HAPPEN!?!?!?

Papa Allison to Bushie:
"HA! I'LL LET YOU MARRY MY DAUGHTER WHEN HELL FREEZES OVER!"
Bushie to Atlas:
"He said yes, but with a few strings attached!"

You guys are funny.  He just wants me to establish myself in a job before I propose.  I don't blame him.  I start the job this Wednesday, so I'm thinking mid-August or so.

I had a good holiday.  I took her to Alva to see my alma mater and then had dinner at Applebee's with her family and watched fireworks in Stillwater.  I'm at my parents now enjoying the rest of the weekend with them.  I'll go back to Tulsa tomorrow evening.
