I realize that I've been acting strange lately.  Even now I'm very confused and I'm still trying to figure things out.  As you all know, I've had sleeping problems for the last several months and I usually take Ambien before bed.  It helps sometimes, but when it doesn't, I usually end up on my futon, still awake, surfing the net until I fall asleep.  Then I end up posting nonsense on the forum.  You can't see most of it, fortunately, because they're usually posted at a time no one else is awake, and I delete them as soon as I regain my senses.

Then I start feeling confused and paranoid.  I don't know where I am half the time, and by the time I fall asleep the sun is risen and I wake up at 5:45 in the afternoon, like I did yesterday.

So, I apologize for the way my behavior has been on this site lately.  After I post this thread, I'm going to try to fall asleep and wake up clearheaded.  I still feel high as a kite right now.

I noticed, but as you say, you typically delete them after a few hours, and it doesn't bother anyone anyway.

Maybe try a different kind of sleeping medicine? It sounds like it's screwing up your sleep patterns.

You're having an health issue, it's not your fault. You don't have to be sorry about it and you must absolutely feel ashamed by it. Mental health issues are real health issues, not a weakness or a failure.

Besides a few posts about you actually being on Ambien, I have not noticed any weird/unusual behavior. You have nothing to apologize for.

I know how horrible it can be when you are having severe sleep difficulties, however, please be careful with the sleep medicine.  Please talk to your doctor about this as it doesnt seem to be helping matters and you definitely don't want to become dependent on it.  Look into some alternative treatment that doesnt have these super unpleasant side effects.
