State of the Electoral Map:

Down to the wire, here is where the electoral map stands; including all the leans and safe states as well as tossups where the lead is 1 point or higher. (States where there is a tie have not been included).
(R) Rudy Giuliani: 267
(D) Joe Biden: 199
(G) Dennis Kucinich: 3
(L) Gary Johnson: 0

"This map gives Giuliani an strong edge, but that is assuming he carries both New Jersey and New York, both states which have not gone for a Republican since 1988 and 1984 respectively." -- Tim Russert

"Joe Biden has some room here. He's up a few points in Arkansas in all places. If he's doing well there, then he's in a good position to do well elsewhere." -- Donna Brazile

Chuck Schumer schedule -

Campaigning for Biden in New York

_____________________________________________________________

October 24

10:00 - Barnstorm and speech. Brooklyn, NYC, NY.
14:00 - GOTV in Long Island, w/ Joe Biden.
17:30 - Barnstorm. New City, NY.
19:00 - Campaign Rally in Schenectady, w/ Joe Biden.

People of New York, you're about to make one of the most important decisions in your life. After 9/11 our lifes changed dramatically. We had a very good mayor who then became Vice President: Rudy Giuliani. But we know now that this Giuliani is not the same person who served as mayor. Back then, he was a bipartisan mayor who knew he had to look like a moderate in order to keep winning. Now, he knows that if he doesn't get the vote of the ultra-conservatives he can't win. That's the difference.

New York has been voting for the democrat in Presidential Elections for many reasons. Those reasons are still valid today, because we still are the party of progress. Polls indicate that more than 60% of you are voting for me next week (and I hope to get more than 70%!). I'll be honest here: if you are voting for me, you have to vote for Joe Biden if you want my voice heard in Washington D.C.. With a republican President, with Giuliani in the White House, the voice of conservative Senators will prevail over your voice in the Senate (that is, Hillary Clinton's and mine).

Vote Biden/Lincoln!

_____________________________________________________________

October 25

09:30 - Barnstorm. Brooklyn, NYC, NY.
13:00 - Barnstorm and rally. Queens, NYC, NY.
18:00 - GOTV and rally. Queens, NYC, NY.

New Yorkers, we're one week away from the most important election in the World, and this time you have one of the most important roles you've ever had. This state is a toss-up state for the first time in many years, but I'm confident we will be giving our Electoral Votes for the Biden/Lincoln ticket. The important thing here is that you know there aren't big differences between Giuliani and other conservative republicans you've never liked and, of course, never elected.

At the same time, mr. Biden represents everything New York wants to see in the White House. He's a progressive, he's the most learned person I've ever met in the Senate, he is one of the most hard-working ones, he knows how to handle international crisis (remember, he's been Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations) and he'll work hand in hand with both Senator Clinton and me!! He's the right choice for New York!

_____________________________________________________________

October 26

10:00 - GOTV and rally. The Bronx, NYC, NY.
14:20 - GOTV and barnstorm w/ Sen. Hillary Clinton. Manhattan, NYC, NY.
17:45 - Barnstorm. Manhattan, NYC, NY.
19:30 - Rally and speech with the Hispanic community. The Bronx, NYC, NY.

Queridos neoyorquinos,

Gracias y buenas tardes!

_____________________________________________________________

October 27

09:45 - Fundraise for Joe Biden. Manhattan, NYC, NY.
11:30 - Barnstorm and rally. Harlem, NYC, NY.
16:10 - Fundraise for Joe Biden. Queens, NYC, NY.
19:00 - Campaign for reelection. Queens, NYC, NY.

_____________________________________________________________

October 28

09:30 - Fundraise for Joe Biden. Manhattan, NYC, NY.
11:30 - Barnstorm and rally. Staten Island, NYC, NY.
15:45 - Townhall. Rye, NY.
18:20 - Rally and GOTV. White Plains, NY.
19:55 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Peekskill, NY.

Today and tomorrow our campaign will be campaigning in Westchester County, and that was a personal decision. Why?

Because I think the Presidential election can be decided here. Think about it. Some political anchors say suburban America will be decisive. Others say the election could be decided in NY. So, Westchester is located in suburban NY! The entire World will be paying attention to counties like yours, so be wise and vote for the one who better represents your views.

This is not the kind of election where you vote for any of the candidates without thinking too much about it. We have 4 candidates this time, but only two have a realistic chance of being elected President, and only one of those two represents what New Yorkers want in the White House, and, believe me, it's not the one who was born here in New York hahaha...

Now, seriously, Dennis Kucinich and Gary Johnson are very good candidates, but any of them has the experience nor the moderation America needs right now, in this critical moment. Biden is your clear choice if you want Republicans out of the White House!!

_____________________________________________________________

October 29

10:00 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Mount Vernon, NY.
12:45 - GOTV and Townhall. New Rochelle, NY.
15:50 - Rally and barnstorm. Yonkers, NY.
18:15 - Barnstorm and GOTV with Biden volunteers. Yonkers, NY.

<Talking campaign volunteers>

As I've said before, I'm convinced suburban New York may decide this election. Since Clinton was first elected in 1992, democrats have won in Westchester County. Al Gore took almost 59% of the vote here. I know it's very difficult to repeat his 21-point margin win, but I'm sure we will be winning here and other counties surrounding NYC with your help, and that will give Biden a healthy margin of victory in NY.

If turnout is high, we win. And that'll be your job. Good luck. You will have the help of the Chuck Schumer Senate campaign these final days, as we're convinced I'll be reelected. Thank you and let's celebrate it together when both Biden and I win next week!

_____________________________________________________________

October 30

11:00 - Townhall and GOTV w/ Sen. Hillary Clinton. Cooperstown, NY.
15:25 - Townhall and GOTV. Oswego, NY.
18:20 - Barnstorm and Townhall. Lockport, NY.
19:40 - Rally and Townhall. North Tonawanda, NY.

Sometimes, central and norhtern NY is not given the relevance it has. When races are close, republicans take these parts of the state for granted and usually win because democrats think they're right and don't campaign here. But that's about to change this time and I'll tell you why.

The truth is that I never forgot about you, and that's why I've always overperformed other democrats here. I've told this to Joe Biden and his campaign is investing time and resources here. But it's not just because he wants to win, it's because he actually cares about what some people call the "forgotten America". For the same reason I usually win here, he's kept winning in the little towns of Delaware as Senator. He has big projects for little towns and rural America, too!

Giuliani thinks he will win in New York just because he was mayor of NYC and republicans usually do well in the rest of the state. But this time it's different, because we care about New York as a whole!!

_____________________________________________________________

October 31

10:00 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Niagara Falls, NY.
12:45 - Rally and barnstorm. Buffalo, NY.
17:20 - Barnstorm and Townhall. Manhattan, NYC, NY.
19:40 - Rest. Brooklyn, NYC, NY.

LatinoVisiónPAC

Razones para mandar a Joe Biden a la Casa Blanca / Reasons to send Joe Biden to the White House

___________________________________________________________________

Radio ad to be released in the following states:

Main purpose: mobilizing the Hispanic vote. Make Biden look Presidential and a good fit for Latino voters.

<Ken Salazar (Colorado AG) voice>

___________________________________________________________________

TV ad to be released in the following states:

Main purpose: Biden looks Presidential and cares about the Hispanic community.

<Congressman Bob Menendez talking>

___________________________________________________________________

LatinoVisiónPAC is also sending their members to campaign* in the following counties for Joe Biden. Almost all of them have Latino-majority populations (some have a large minority of Hispanics but are big in terms of population: Clark County, NV and Denver, CO) and this PAC believes Biden can get more votes there than any past democrat presidential nominee:

-Yuma County

-Costilla County
-Denver City and County

Florida

-Miami-Dade County

Nevada

Pro-Giuliani Campaign Ad, Running in the Following States:

Even Democrats

- Clint Eastwood Chuck Norris is on screen, leaning against a dusty truck. He speaks straight to the camera -

Lots of Americans from across the nation have announced their support for Vice President Giuliani in his campaign for President. There's been athletes, musicians, business owners, and politicians. Now, the Vice President's list of supporters has grown again. Speaking at an event in New York City, Senator Chuck Schumer - a leading Democrat in the Senate - gave his support for Vice President Giuliani.

- Camera returns to Eastwood Norris -

Even Democrats are turning their backs to Senator Biden and his anti-business, pro-radicalism policies. Americans from across the nation are recognizing that the candidate for jobs, for security, and for a better America is Rudy Giuliani.

Rep. Sherrod Brown schedule -

Campaigning for Biden in Ohio

_____________________________________________________________

October 24

09:45 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Fairview Park, OH.
13:30 - Rally and Townhall. Bay Village, OH.
16:50 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Cleveland Heights, OH.
18:40 - Rally and GOTV. Beachwood, OH.

Today we're here in Cuyahoga county campaigning for Joe Biden, the only candidate that really understands the problems and needs of the Rust Belt!

_____________________________________________________________

October 25

09:40 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Cleveland, OH.
12:00 - Barnstorm and Townhall. East Cleveland, OH.
17:00 - GOTV and rally. Euclid, OH.
19:15 - Townhall. Highland Heights, OH.

Today we're here in Cuyahoga county again, asking for your vote for the Biden/Lincoln ticket. There's no candidate that understands better the needs of the people in the Rust Belt, specially blue-collar workers, than Joe Biden. Joe spent many years going by train to the Senate, he's the common American you want to see in the White House!

_____________________________________________________________

October 26

10:50 - Townhall and rally.Cleveland, OH.
12:45 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Grove City, OH.
18:20 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Hilliard, OH.

We can't let the man with two personalities win here in Ohio. Mr. Giuliani used to be a moderate when he was mayor of New York. Then he became a conservative republican Vice President. I prefer to deal with a man with convictions than with a flip-flopper, don't you? That's why many liberals and moderates say they prefered Cheney over Giuliani. Cheney at least had a firm ideology, even if we disliked it (and, believe me, I did)!

_____________________________________________________________

October 27

10:15 - Barnstorm and rally. Cleveland, OH.
11:40 - Fundraise for Joe Biden. Cleveland, OH.
16:30 - Fundraise for Joe Biden and GOTV. Columbus, OH.
19:00 - Barnstorm and rally. Columbus, OH.

We're on the final days of this campaign and every dollar is crucial for the Biden campaign if we want a strong GOTV operation taking place next week in Ohio. Every poll has Ohio tied right now, and that's why a superior GOTV operation is necessary, specially because we have to "share" the liberal vote with another candidate, and that candidate is Ohioan and knows how to campaign here, too. But that will not stop us. We're going to win here with your help. Pundits will be surprised with an early call of Ohio for the Biden team!

Your help is needed. If you can't contribute with 10, 25, 50... dollars, please, contact my campaign and help us with your work!!

_____________________________________________________________

October 28

09:10 - Campaign for reelection. Avon, OH.
11:30 - Townhall and rally. Avon, OH.
16:15 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Lorain, OH.
18:20 - Barnstorm and rally. Elyria, OH.

_____________________________________________________________

October 29

10:00 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Oregon, OH.
12:0 0- GOTV and rally. Maumee, OH.
15:45 - Talk to campaign volunteers and GOTV. Toledo, OH.
18:45 - Fundraise for Joe Biden and GOTV. Toledo, OH.

Lucas county is considered by us, Ohioans, the heart of the Rust Belt. I'm convinced if Biden wins in Lucas County by a big margin, he has Ohio in the bag. Please, don't stop working, you're doing a great job and that's why some internal polls indicate we're in the lead right now, even if Kucinich is strong here, too.

So, please, try to convince those Kucinich voters that Biden is the right candidate and the only one who can get the republicans out of the White House!

_____________________________________________________________

October 30

10:05 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Akron, OH.
12:55 - GOTV and rally. Akron, OH.
15:10 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Akron, OH.
18:10 - Townhall and barnstorm. Twinsburg, OH.
20:00 - Townhall and rally. Green, OH.

_____________________________________________________________

October 31

09:40 - Barnstorm and rally. Cincinnati, OH.
11:15 - Rally and GOTV. Cincinnati, OH.
16:00 - Townhall and rally. Loveland, OH.
18:40 - Barnstorm and GOTV. Cincinnati, OH.

GOTV Memo

Volunteerism has surged in these last few weeks. We have amassed 279,061 volunteers at October events. Phone bank and block walk events now average 26 volunteers nationwide. There are neighborhood volunteer teams in almost every town of every state. Phone banks have averaged 1,900 dials each, while block walks have averaged 1,341 voters reached. Last weekend, nationwide, 5,000 block walks were organized around the country. Additionally, 2,000 phone banks were held the same weekend. Contact rates have risen to 29% on average.

Volunteers have worked off of scripts highlighting Senator Biden's leadership on the minimum wage, and the fact that he is the only candidate to talk straight about Iraq. In contrast, volunteers point out the campaign's talking points on the other candidates to show that Biden is the best and only choice for President.

As of October 17, we have successfully completed the dry run of our GOTV model, and all volunteer events are now focused solely on GOTV. Volunteers in phone banks are given lists that include the voter's early voting location, and a persuasion script if the voter is still undecided.

Talking Points

• Joe Biden is a fighter who will work for you in the White House.

• Joe Biden is the only one in this election willing to talk straight about Iraq.

• Gary Johnson's dangerous economy will put Americans on breadlines. He favors repealing the minimum wage and leaving the hardworking among us isolated and vulnerable to abuse from corrupt corporations such as ENRON.

• Rudy Giuliani is an insider who doesn't care about normal Americans. His corrupt appointments as Mayor of New York stole huge sums of money from the taxpayers, and turned the NYPD into a personal taxi service for his closest friends and confidantes.

• Dennis Kucinich has a record you could drive by and not even notice. All he's got is hot-headed rhetoric, but that won't get the solutions America needs.

• Kucinich's running mate is a candidate who used the words "socialist" and "egalitarian" in the same sentence at the Vice Presidential debate. Americans want sensible, common-sense solutions.

•Blanche Lincoln has always been a fierce fighter for the people of Arkansas. As their Senator she has been a vigilant voice for the everyman in the U.S. Senate, and while presiding over the Senate as Vice President she will continue to keep that promise to all Americans, that they will always have a voice in the nation's capital.

•When he is President, Joe Biden will uphold his call for an economic patriotism rooted in the belief that growing our economy begins with a strong and thriving middle class.

The Quotable Joe Biden

"Guy's so scared he's grasping at breadcrumbs," Senator Biden in passing to campaign press pool when asked about Giuliani's new ad.

"Jesus loves you, man," Senator Biden to a man at a diner meet & greet.

"Once more for Blanche!" imploring the crowd to roar as Senator Lincoln took the stage at the Little Rock rally.

"We want good jobs. We want good schools. We want to address these issues head on, in a sensible, common-sense way. He just doesn't get that." in response to questions about Giuliani's 'anti-business' accusations.

Dennis Kucinich Campaign Schedule: October 24-31

October 24
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Haverhill, MA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Fall River, MA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Quincy, MA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Worcester, MA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Boston, MA

Throughout this election cycle, Congressman Sanders and I have been the only candidates to talk about the issues that matter to Americans. Not just the obvious issues, like Iraq or the minimum wage, but solving poverty, creating green energy, tackling corporate crime, and bringing universal healthcare. The people are ready for a change. As the election approaches, vote with your heart and do what you think is best for you and your family. We have been fighting for you, and we'll have one hell of a showing when the results are counted up!

October 25
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Taunton, MA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Lawrence, MA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Revere, MA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Cambridge, MA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Lowell, MA

October 26
-Barnstorming and GOTV in St. Cloud, MN
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Bloomington, MN
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Rochester, MN
-Barnstorming and GOTV in St. Paul, MN
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Minneapolis, MN

Minnesota, we know you're receptive to our message of peace and prosperity across the world! While my opponents and the media will try their hardest to wage a smear campaign against everything we stand for, we won't back down without a fight, and it's our chance to prove that in only a couple of days! Wouldn't you say it's time to get out of the Middle East for good? The neocons have tried and failed to gain control of Iraq, and they only have billions of dollars wasted and thousands of troops' lives gone to show for all of their efforts. I've been 100% opposed to this military adventure from the beginning, and my opponents like Senator Biden now have to change their position to fit in with public opinion. Make no mistake, President Kucinich will put an end to our reckless foreign policy once and for all!

October 27
-Barnstorming and GOTV in East Providence, RI
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Pawtucket, RI
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Cranston, RI
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Warwick, RI
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Providence, RI

October 28
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Oakland, CA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Long Beach, CA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Fresno, CA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Bakersfield, CA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in San Francisco, CA

Let's talk about rights. There are basic human rights that all people of all countries are entitled to. Our Constitution grants us inalienable rights from our creator that government cannot infringe upon, although they've tried in recent years with measures like the PATRIOT Act. There are also workers' rights, so we don't have unsafe working facilities and we work under slave labor. Environmental rights also affect all of us, because without a healthy planet, we will all suffer. I'm the only candidate who touches on all of these rights. I want the UN to step up its roles and target war criminals for their actions. I want to restore the First and Fourth Amendment and ensure that we all live free. I'm the guy who has stood up for unions and workers against big business, and I'm the guy who has fought for conservation and against pollution. Look at my record on all of these issues and you will see that the other candidates can't compete with me. I will be a president that fights for all people.

October 29
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Stockton, CA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Sacramento, CA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in San Jose, CA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in San Diego, CA
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Los Angeles, CA

Osama bin Laden's message that came out earlier reminded all of us who our real enemies are. While we've been destroying Iraq based on a mountain of lies, we've overlooked the terrorists responsible for actually attacking us on 9/11. What inspired these men to commit these atrocities? From their own words, it's been our involvement overseas for all these years. It's time that we rethink our priorities. Instead of bombing the entire region, we should pull out our troops and work on rebuilding what we've helped to destroy. It's not our job to be the world's policeman constantly. My Department of Peace will help to facilitate this transition to a smarter, peaceful foreign policy.

October 30
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Kailua, HI
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Hilo, HI
-Barnstorming and GOTV in East Honolulu, HI
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Pearl City, HI
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Honolulu, HI

October 31
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Biddeford, ME
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Auburn, ME
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Bangor, ME
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Lewiston, ME
-Barnstorming and GOTV in Portland, ME

Maine, you've had a strong history of bucking away from the two big parties and letting your independent streak be shown. You've proved that with the election and reelection of your former governor, Angus King. I come before you to say that I've been the same kind of independent voice as Governor King was for you. I've stood up to lobbyists in Washington, voting my conscience and always thinking about the best interests of my constituents. While my opponents may be funded by Haliburton or Goldman Sachs, I receive none of that money. I'm funded by regular Americans like all of you. I want to bring back peace, restore your rights, protect your jobs, and beat back corporate influence in government. Will you join me in this campaign?

Kucinich Surrogates: Out in Full Force!

George McGovern and Gore Vidal have gone on a nationwide tour together for the last week, explaining why they are in support of Kucinich and answering questions from the public and from the press. In particular, the two have been focusing on Kucinich's strong antiwar stance and how this will represent a significant change from the Bush years. "In 1972, I ran as the peace candidate," McGovern said at a stop in Santa Fe, New Mexico. "Now, in 2004, it's clear that Dennis Kucinich is fighting for the same principles that I did."

Ralph Nader, the Green Party's previous presidential nominee, has been enthusiastically supporting this year's ticket, barnstorming many states, particularly with active progressive bases. "Do you want to see corporate crime finally tackled for once?" Nader asked a crowd in Boston, Massachusetts. "How about no more corporate giveaways, and how about regulating the markets so the fat cats don't play around with your money? Dennis Kucinich will deliver with all of this, and more."

Al Gore has come back to barnstorm for the Kucinich campaign during these last few weeks. The former Vice President highlights Kucinich as being a man of convictions who is talking about issues that the other candidates are ignoring. "The issue I'm most passionate about these days is addressing global warming and its consequences for the world, and Congressman Kucinich has the most comprehensive plan to change our environmental and energy policies for the better that I've seen out of all the candidates running." Gore has been actively seeking support from traditionally Democratic voters and donors to switch over to the Greens this election.

Russ Feingold has been an active surrogate from the beginning, spending the most time in Midwestern states such as Iowa, Minnesota, and his home state of Wisconsin. Feingold has sought to boost motivation and turnout from progressive voters across the country who might be receptive to the campaign's message. "I know about one person in this election who's fought for the little guy his whole career, and that man is Dennis Kucinich, ladies and gentlemen!"

Howard Dean has been one of the most excitable and well-received surrogates of the campaign. An early endorser, Dean has been convincing liberals across the country that Kucinich better represents their interests than a candidate like Biden. "You're getting the best of the best with this man, my friends, and I know it. Who else will fight for peace, fight for universal healthcare, fight for free education, and fight for free trade all at once?" Dean has worked to also solidify Kucinich's lead in Vermont.

Mike Gravel, out of obscurity after decades, has worked tirelessly to make the case that Kucinich/Sanders is the ticket that will give regular Americans a voice in government again. "What the hell happened to us as a country? We've lost our voice somewhere along the way," Gravel stated to a group of supporters in Fairbanks, Alaska. "I can tell you, though, that we've got a chance to change all of that this November, and that begins by bringing in President Kucinich!"

Michael Moore, a prominent filmmaker, has been lending his voice to promote Kucinich and Sanders in the final stretch. "We have a chance to be bold, fight for what we believe in, and actually change the direction of the country with the Green Party in 2004!" Moore shouted to a crowd of excited supporters in Chicago, Illinois. Along with appearing in rallies, Moore has also been working the media, appearing in numerous interviews with news channels on behalf of the campaign.

Phil Donahue has used his years of working in the TV business to his advantage, aggressively pushing for Kucinich in interviews and appearances in an attention-grabbing and eloquent manner. "How many more kids must die in Iraq from our bombs, and how many more kids must die here at home without any proper medical care? When will we have a president that will finally offer real solutions? We may get that chance this year, but Dennis Kucinich is the only man capable of doing it." Donahue has also starred in some recent campaign ads as a recognizable face that will increase attention and support for the candidate.

Bill Murray has been the most visible celebrity that has endorsed Kucinich, and he has been instrumental in raising awareness about the issues of the campaign and vouching for the candidate nationwide, particularly through TV ads. "Dennis Kucinich is the candidate running on real change," one advertisement running across the country stated. "He means what he says and he'll talk straight with you. That's what I'm supporting him." Murray has also organized some fundraisers to raise money for campaign operations, attracting other Hollywood stars along the way.

TV/Radio Ad: Change

Americans are hungry for a change. Dennis Kucinich has been the bold leader that they are looking for. Kucinich has stood against Iraq from the very beginning. He has a plan to solve the nation's healthcare and education problems, providing universal access for all Americans. He has fought against big business for decades and has never backed down from defending the little guy. While other politicians' talk may be cheap, Dennis Kucinich means what he says, and he'll bring real change as President. I'm Dennis Kucinich, and I approve this message.

Judy Shepard schedule -

Campaigning for Biden in New York

Joe Biden is the only one of the two candidates who can win this election that wants equal rights for the LGTB community, and New York is one of the states that cares the most about equal rights for minorities.
I don't see how a republican can win in NY, and I'll do everything I can to send New Yorkers the message that Giuliani is very similar to George Bush, and that only Biden cares about LGTB issues.
I'm sure Biden wil get New York's 31 EVs if we continue working this hard if citizens vote both with their heart and their head!

TV and Radio ads to be run in the following states:

Only one candidate has a plan for healthcare that will not bankrupt the nation. That will give you a choice in your healthcare plans. No more monopolies, big pharma, instead a people's healthcare. Governor Johnson's plan is to reduce the regulation on buying healthcare, allow you to buy healthcare across state lines, and encourage true competition in the healthcare industry. Who do you trust when it comes to healthcare? The government *show picture of run down VA hospitals and seniors looking through medicare and medicaid pamphlets* or charities and free market solutions? *show well kept private hospitals, and charity hospitals* Vote for a choice in healthcare, vote Gary Johnson this November.

Today we need a leader, not one beholden to political favors, not someone who has been bought by lobbyists. We need a leader who can rise above party politics, a leader who is an outsider to Washington. A leader that is beholden only to the people he serves. Gary Johnson did that has Governor of New Mexico, now he is bringing his leadership to the national level. As president he will not be tied down with political favors, instead he will choose what is best for the country as a whole. Let's take Washington back, let's vote Gary Johnson.

Round XXXIII: November 1-November 2, 2004

Election Day is upon us! The candidates are crisscrossing the country in the final hours before Election Day. Most pundits declare it to be a coin-toss election. Polling continues to show a close race between Vice President Rudy Giuliani and Senator Joe Biden, with Governor Johnson and Congressman Kucinich drawing a respectable third and fourth place polling. All four candidates have raised a considerable amount of money over the course of the cycle and have been targeting the key states.

In recent days the revelation of the Bin Laden tape has caused heightened concerns for the country, with the terror alert level being raised. The candidates have responded the to the video by the mastermind and both President Bush and Vice President Giuliani have seen an uptick in support. Some pundits believe this will help Giuliani in the closing hours of the election, as it will compliment his campaign of experience in handling terrorism. Polls have continued to show a small, but steady lead for Giuliani throughout the entire cycle. Many pundits believe the remaining undecided will break evenly between Giuliani and Biden, with some going for Johnson.

Most pundits expect November 2nd to be a long night as polls in many states show a close contest. Fasten your seat-belts!

Map 1 includes no toss ups states, unless a tie, ie OH, WI, MO, FL. Lean and safe states counted along with toss ups where there is a one point lead and higher.

Map 2 includes only toss ups, safe and lean states.
