Far from a random politician. He was very relevant in 2000, which isn't that long ago politically.

I spent many formative years in New Jersey, where I was taught to revere him as a sort of demi-god. Now that I'm older, I think he was extraordinary in his personal achievements, but relatively ordinary in his political achievements. In politics, he seemed to be just another ambitious intellect who understood the concept of political pivot.

He's an FF because it's difficult to find any justification for an HP vote. Yes, he helped trap people in the welfare state, but he also made it clear that he wanted a more robust Earned Income Tax Credit system, which would have alleviated the failings of welfare.
