You have 24 hours to advocate for this, Small L.

I'd like to make an amendment.

Would that amendment be intended to be a permanent barring?

Would that amendment be intended to be a permanent barring?

It would bar people from the list as long as they are barred from holding office.  Do you feel that should be specified?

I didn't know that we had such provisions barring an impeached or expelled officeholder for a length of time. Specifying that would make sense.

Just out of curiosity, why doesn't the legislature just keep record of this list in the Imperial Almanac, an already existing thread of comprehensive regional information?

Not that I think this is a bad idea, I don't really see a need for this. If it is what the rest of y'all want I won't oppose it though. I would like to hear the emperor's opinion of this though since it affects him.

Well it was my idea to foment interest in the regional government by providing new citizens with a clear path to serving in the regional Legislature.

We will now proceed to a final vote on the legislation.  Members, please vote Aye, Nay, or Abstain.

With four votes in favor, the bill is passed and is presented to the Emperor.

On the Appointment List Bill: by the powers vested in me as Emperor of this region, I thus sign it into law.

Be it resolved, X Emperor PiT
