Who cares? As long as they don't try to impose their wacky beliefs on others (like, say, by banning gay marriage), they're free to believe whatever they want.

Of course there are.  But I suspect that most around here would be surprised to see that the share of people finding gay sex to be immoral (never mind marriage) is this high.

Not that surprising. I've met people with very strong Les-Bi-Tran-Gay ties who woefully admit that it goes against "nature". IE, homosexual sex doesn't result in conception.

I'm abstinent, but even I've got to say that's really ignorant. "We approve of a committed, official bond between you two, but we don't think you guys should further be allowed to show your love for each other in a sexual manner."

The problem is and always will be that a large plurality of men who disapprove of same-sex intercourse only disapprove of two men doing it, but are often perfectly okay with two women just because they like watching it. Meanwhile, 55% of Americans support recreational marijuana legalization as opposed to only 43% who are okay with gay sex. What's wrong with America?
