Overall Ideology: John Sherman, John Bricker, and Bob Taft Conservative. Adams-Hamiltonian Federalist.
Social: Very conservative
Economic: Syncretic
Foreign Policy: Anti-interventionist

Social Policy:
Abortion: Oppose, except in cases of rape, incest, and the life of the mother. First-trimester chemical abortion is more permissible but should be a rare practice.

Same-Sex Marriage: Oppose.

Drugs: Keep alcohol and tobacco legal. Decriminalize/legalize pot, mild natural substances like khat, kava kava, and kratom. Rehabilitate addicts. Punish traffickers severely.

Death Penalty: Support. For some criminals who have committed very serious crimes and whose guilt is unquestionable, this is a just punishment.

Gun Control: Opposed to any gun control whatsoever.

Affirmative Action: Opposed in all circumstances.

Prostitution:
Opposed in all circumstances.

Euthanasia: Opposed in all circumstances.

Immigration: Zero tolerance for illegal immigration. Illegal immigration hurts workers, communities, and the economy at large.

Police Issues/Black Lives Matter: Policing and systemic racism are not the root causes of American blacks' problems. Economic and cultural decay, exacerbated by faulty public policies, are.

Free Speech/Political Correctness: Free speech in all political/social discussions; strong restrictions on obscenity, libel, and incitement.

School Prayer: It should absolutely be permitted and encouraged.

Muslim Ban: It should depend on the place of origin and type of visa. High-skilled Muslim immigrants from developed, or formerly developed (i.e. Libya, Syria, Iraq), should be permitted. Family or diversity visas should be heavily restricted or eliminate.

PATRIOT ACT: Oppose. End the perpetual warfare state.

Economic Issues

Subsidies: Support industrial subsidies funded by tariffs.

Deregulation: De-regulation only in order to break up monopolies, introduce competition, and drive interest rates down for consumers. Retail banks should be de-regulated to encourage higher savings rates and lower costs for average people.

Monetary Policy: Sound money.

Minimum Wage: Minimum wages should be set by the states, based on their different economies and costs-of-living, not at the federal level.

Healthcare: Fund community health centers, Medicaid, and Medicare for the poor, elderly, and indigent.

Globalization/Trade: The United States should adopt a policy of protectionism on all goods to reindustrialize the country and protect our native workforce.

Deficit/Debt: I'm naturally a deficit hawk but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Campaign Finance Reform: Promote as much transparency as possible, increase reporting requirements, and limit corporate donations.

Unions: Fully support industrial organizing insofar as it serves social goods, like the maintenance of industrial communities,

Energy: Invest in nuclear first, clean fossil fuels (esp. LNG) second.

Education: Vastly reduce educational spending, turn it over to local districts and communities, enable school choice at every level.

Taxes: Lower taxes across the board. Implement a tax on hedge funds, speculators, and

Foreign Policy
UN/Int'l Orgs: Withdraw from everything. Exercises in liberal futility.
NATO: Withdraw. Follow Washington's advice, avoid European entanglements.
Afghanistan: Withdraw immediately. It's the graveyard of empires and the only thing there is death.
Iraq: Withdraw immediately.
Iran: Keep sanctions up indefinitely, let them twist in the wind.
Syria: Withdraw immediately.
Cuba: No recognition, keep sanctions.
Israel: Israel is an ally in the region, but it is a secondary partner and American security concerns must come first.
Palestine: Ignore.
Russia: (See NATO.)

Environment
Climate Change: The only answer is nuclear power, with supplementary clean fossil fuels. International climate accords are a joke.

Electoral Issues

Gerrymandering: Practically unavoidable, as long as the parties never surrender their control over the process.
Term limits: Support for Congress, oppose for the President. ;-)
Voter ID: Support.
DC and PR statehoods: Under no circumstances.
