Social Issues
General philosophy: Left
Separation of church and state: Strongly support
Freedom of speech: Support
Right to an abortion: support in first trimester, opposed in third
Affirmative action: I don't approve of quotas, but otherwise support for government positions, oppose for a mandate for private sector
Gun rights: Support the second amendment, but might favor limiting the manufacture of certain guns
Civil unions or gay marriage: Support full same-sex marriage & adoption rights
Euthanasia: support
Prostitution: hmm... I guess I don't want to make it legal, but I oppose police entrapment tactics to catch "Johns"
Capital punishment: Support as a measure to protect society, oppose as a means of enacting retribution for victims
Economic Issues
General philosophy: Center
Employers and Employees: too vague to respond- I do support right to work laws
Taxation: simplify
Spending: Decrease it in some areas
Free trade: Support
Funding of the space program: oppose- there are so many more things relevant to our existence than this- I oppose spending billions to larn about some planet beyond Pluto while people are starving on Earth. If money were not an object, sure
Foreign policy
General philosophy: support efforts at diplomacy and concensus building
Iraq: oppose Iraq war
