Obviously, while Bushie is the heart and soul of the Update Series, the multitude of fascinating side characters who drop in from time to time are also a delight. I've tried to list as many as I could remember here; please chime in if there are some you think I missed!

Obviously, Russ Powers will win this poll because he is the current celebrity of the show, but Rick Roll's tales of Bushie's past will always stand out in my mind - the flashbacks to his grade school and high school days, etc.

Russ is a close second due to the power he wields over Bushie's life, and the way he lives  is to be celebrated - he teaches a high school class for a few hours a day, grades work whenever he wants, and is viewed as a hero in his student's eyes. Dare I say, he reminds me of opebo.

Wasn't there another character that was similar to RickRoll who actually appeared before him? I can't remember his username.

Also didn't Bushie befriend some Mexican guy in Utah or something? I know that most fans didn't care for that season but I guess he deserves to be mentioned.

Anyway, I voted for Blondie simply because I love dogs. Russell A. Powers is my top human choice edging out poor Papa Bushie.

Oh yeah, and Bushie's pastor also definitely deserves to be mentioned. If I remember correctly, he's a couple of years younger than Bushie but already has a wife and children. It seemed like Bushie may be a bit jealous of the life his pastor is leading.
