This, Franco's performance was also a disappointment.  Then again, he's always been an over-hyped actor.  Maybe he'll finally give a good performance in True Story.

Among people I've talked to, the overwhelming majority of Americans loved Spring Breakers, while the overwhelming majority of non-Americans didn't. I suppose it is a very American movie.

I really liked it, but the Oscars are only interesting for the politics involved in crowning their winners, not for the quality of the films that get crowned.
