Alright, for some reason you have to choose for one of these two to be banned. You can't have both of them still be existing. Which one do you decide to get rid of?

My answer is pretty obvious.

Strip Clubs. Wastes of space that bring down property values.

Strip Clubs. Wastes of space that bring down property values.

The one here is actually located in the middle of one of the most expensive commercial areas in town.

Well I live in Iowa where they bring down property values imensly. Des Moines, Davenport, Sioux City, the City Counclis hate how they besmirch their city's name and bring down property values.

The city council here loves the strip club and would never think of banning it because of all the money it brings to the local economy. Got to have one in a college town.

I bet Iowa City likes strip clubs for the same reason.

Let's look at the schools in my city:

Public high schools in Mankato:

MANKATO WEST SR. (Students: 1,168; Location: 51 PARK LANE; Grades: 09 - 12)
MANKATO EAST SR. (Students: 985; Location: 2600 HOFFMAN RD.; Grades: 09 - 12)
RIVERBEND ACADEMY CHARTER SCHOOL (Students: 149; Grades: 07 - 12)
CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL ALC (Students: 117; Location: 110 FULTON ST.; Grades: 09 - 12)
LIFE LINES ADULT CONN. (Students: 37; Grades: 11 - 12)

Private high schools in Mankato:

LOYOLA HIGH SCHOOL (Students: 687; Location: 145 GOOD COUNSEL DR; Grades: 1 - 12)
IMMANUEL LUTHERAN SCHOOL (Students: 128; Location: 421 NORTH SECOND STREET; Grades: KG - 12)
GRACE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (Students: 66; Location: 600 LIND ST; Grades: KG - 12)

note that the private schools have every grade while the listed public ones are only high schools. They are vastly outnumbered. Screw the private schools, I'd keep the strip club Cheesy

I'm glad that if an idiot tried to establish a strip club in West Branch they would run out of town on a rail. Cheesy

well the point is you have to choose one.

Also the fact you don't want to ban strip clubs is why you should've kept a green avatar. Since that's exactly what the GOP wants to do.

I cannot think of a realistic circumstance under which I'd be required to make this choice, so I won't.

Unofficially: Neither. Both would be a tyrannical breach of individual rights.

man, I'd make a great State Senator. I'd be a foil to that idiot Michele Bachmann.

Bachmann: We must ban gay marriage before we tackle anything else! This is more important than solving the state's budget problems or fixing the education system!

me: No way, our top priority should be letting strippers be naked in alcohol serving clubs and allowing two-way contact!

I still agree with Republican more than the dems. So I changed back.  I only get partisan around election season.
I went to Catholic schools all my life and am quite fond of the occassional trip (usually involving a bachelor party) to the strip club.  If pressed I'd get rid of the strip club.

BRTD FOR STATE SENATOR!!!  Hell, I'd let you replace that near DINO of mine Mike Stack who's family is also corrupt.  I voted for him over Sam Mirarchi who was an utter joke.

Same here, but I'd get rid of the private schools (if it came down to it).  Will probably not send my kid to one unless I live in Philly and even then I'd encourage them to apply to Central or Masterman.

I don't think I'd like Northeast Philly. I'd be better off in Brady's district.

What are PA's laws on strip clubs by the way? Considering how lame your liquor laws I bet they suck.

I also couldn't get elected to State Senate where I live. St. Peter and Mankato would like me, everywhere else would hate me. I could get elected to State House though. Easy solution of course is to just move to Minneapolis where I could no problem get elected anywhere, which is what will happen.

Last night by the way my friend ended up dragging me to the strip club (OK maybe not "dragging" is the best term but I wouldn't have went without him) and I told him I would love it if there was some stripper who wore only red outfits and had a hammer and sickle tattoo on her breast and a giant red star on her back.

He said I was nuts.

I don't either.  Still better than most places in PA though.  Lots of bars and riverfront strip clubs.  I would rather live in Center City or Montgomery County though.

Center City is probably best for me.

What are your laws though? Do you have those lame ones that you have to be a certain distance away from the girls?

Not that I know of.  Northeast Philly isn't as prudisha s Phil would like to believe, but it's far from liberal hedonsim.
