Kinda weird she's running on a rather nationalized platform for such a local race. It'd be like running for County Auditor on a platform of not raising the national debt limit.

She and dennis miller are cut from the same cloth (except miller is actually funny).

To call her a celebrity now is generous. She was a bit player on SNL, and that was 25 years ago.
