Today Chris Christie began a new term as NJ Governor and he has been touted as a front-runner for the GOP nomination and potential US President. But he has also got some potential problems with various investigations.

So in 3 years do you think he is living at the expense of the Federal Government (either at 1600 Pennsylvania or in Federal Pen) or somewhere else?

They'll never find enough on him to put him away or force his resignation, but if he keeps getting beaten up like this he'll pass on an ill-fated run and limp away from the Governorship in four years.

He has enough baggage already that I think he can and deserves to be convicted. The same prosecutor from the Blagojevich scandal is in charge of this one, so that won't go well for Christie either.

Puking up steak after he overfills his pouch of a stomach and the meat tenderizer mixed with water just didn't do the trick.

Well if the prosecutor could put an innocent man like Blagojevich in jail, then he'll have no trouble with Christie.

Option 3. Don't see how he'll make it out of the primary at this point. Probably leaves in 2018 with subpar approval ratings, and disappears from the public spotlight.

Option 5.5

Gets convicted in 2017-2018 on an entirely unrelated scandal (Like Selling Bob Menendez's Senate  Seat)

I'm surprised Governor of NJ (never runs) is winning. This scandal is either going to bring him to the point of resignation/criminal charges, or it's eventually going to dissipate and he will do the thing he's always wanted to do: run for president.

President of the United States. People will mostly forget Bridge-gate in 3 months, and it'll have receded almost completely by 2016.

You're missing the option of "Resigns as governor in order to run for president".

(See this thread on how the campaign finance laws make it hard for him to raise $ if he runs for president as the sitting governor of NJ: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=176680.0 )

At this point, it's a given that he will have no reputation 5 years from now. Jim McGreevey...Jon Corzine...now Big Boy.

New Jersey hasn't had an ethically sound governor since Christine Whitman.

Exactly and neither should the NJ legislature in throwing him out. If a Democratic IL legislature is willing to throw out their Democratic Governor in a bipartisan effort, then Republicans should be willing to join state Democrats in taking down Christie. The other coincidence is that of the only 2 gubernatorial winners in 2009, Bob McDonnell is expected to be convicted and face decades in prison for a scandal that's really nowhere near as bad as Christie's. One just accepted a whole bunch of gifts (which if we're going off of that, we might as well prosecute Nikki Haley to) while the other created a massive traffic jam resulting in the death of an elderly woman, unjustifiably used Sandy aid on a campaign ad, and is denying help to the victims of the storm in his state over politics. There really is no justice if McDonnell's jailed and Christie stays free in the long run.

Right now, I'd say either option 3 or 4.  Voted 3.

I think its too early to say anything right now due to the ambiguity of his current situation. Regardless, my guess is that hard evidence implicating him in either the George Washington Bridge or Holboken scandal doesn't turn up.  Problem being that in the meantime his image and appeal takes a serious hit. A comeback is certainly within the realm of possibility.  As long as he isn't directly linked to either case, he may still be very well the GOP establishment's only hope. Especially if the guy who seems to have benefit the most here, Scott Walker loses or underperforms in his reelection bids.  Or others like Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush are unable to rebound themselves or simply don't run.
