I voted for Bachman because the Palin reality show stuff has all been horrible and lame while I'm banking on the Bachmans' future reality show to be fabulous.

They're equally terrible on policy, so that's a wash.

I prefer Bachmann because she seems more insane whereas Palin seems more vindictive and egotistical.

Palin by far.  I actually think Palin is fairly intelligent; look at how the Tea Party totally “forgot” about her sending out checks to each citizen of her state. She is a celebrity, and not a serious politician.

After reading Double Down, I’m convinced that Bachmann is mentally unstable.

Palin, unlike Bachmann can no longer have a true effect on the Republican Party anymore, (luckily after 2014 Bachmann won't either) and she seems somewhat better than Bachmann.
