I quit playing it some of the states were way too liberal or conservative, and it was also skewed toward Bryan in 1896 and Obama in 2012.

This first one is 1896.  I played as McKinley with 25 questions and Gage as my running mate:

William McKinley (R-OH): 7,001,213 PVs (50.4%); 264 EVs
William Jennings Bryan (D-NE): 6,729,693 (48.5%); 183 EVs

Then, we have 1968.  I played as Nixon with Romney as my running mate:

Richard Nixon (R-NY): 33,339,797 PVs (45.5%) 430 EVs
Hubert H. Humphrey (D-MN): 29,311,173 PVs (40.0%) 54 EVs
George Wallace (I-AL): 10,555,638 PVs (14.4%) 53 EVs

Rep. William Jennings Bryan (D-NE)/Mr. Arthur Sewall (D-ME): 163 EVs

Best result I've had with Romney. I hate that "New York Republican" bug.

How in the world did you do that?  I've NEVER been able to win with Romney.  I swear the 2012 game is rigged.

I was excited to see that they added one for 2000.  I played as Bush/Danforth on Easy and got this:

Gov. George W. Bush (R-TX)/Fmr. Sen. John Danforth (R-MO): 352 EVs
Vice Pres. Al Gore (D-TN)/Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-CT): 186 EVs
What's interesting is not only that I got Minnesota, but Nader and Gore both beat me in DC.

Vice Pres. Richard Nixon (R-CA)/Sen. Everett Dirksen (R-IL): 343 EVs, 48.75% PV
Sen. John F. Kennedy (D-MA)/Sen. Lyndon B. Johnson (D-TX): 46.41% PV
Sen. Harry Byrd (ID-VA)/Sen. Strom Thurmond (ID-SC): 27 EVs, 4.84% PV

What I find interesting on this one is that right before the election, I was estimated to be beating Kennedy in Illinois 50-49%, but I ended up losing there by about 5,000 votes.  That's probably Mayor Daley bringing out the dead vote in Chicago...

Sorry for that mistake.  Kennedy got it, but I can't pull up the margin.

Over 300 EV's with Ford/Connally on Normal. Lost NY/PA/MO by extremely narrow margins.

Won as Ford/Baker in 1976 on Easy; I couldn't do it on Normal.  Sometimes, I swear these games are rigged.

Pres. Gerald R. Ford (R-MI)/Sen. Howard Baker (R-TN): 363 EVs; 40,715,312 PVs (50.12%)
Fmr. Gov. Jimmy Carter (D-GA)/Sen. Walter Mondale (D-MN): 175 EVs; 38,920,054 PVs (47.91%)
Others: 1,593, 629 PVs (1.96%)

I can't win with Bush on 1988.  That game is rigged (not to mention oversimplified).

Just attack Dukakis on everything  except Sodomy and you will crush him. I won 426-112 with Bush on hard
That margin is the same as IRL.  But that's my point.  They make it look like Bush only won because he went negative and attacked Dukakis on everything, and it wasn't that simple.

Ya I know the dems had no chance in 1988

No, they should have easily won.

The economy was in great shape in 1988, and much better shape then it was in 1980, the evil Soviet Union was falling apart, and the future looked optimistic. Gore like Bush should have won easily in 2000 but he blew it.
If Gore "should have won easily" in 2000, then Nixon should have in 1960 as well.

Played as Hughes/Burkett and lost narrowly.

BTW: I think they should wait until after the election to put up one on 2016.

I'm shocked you were able to win as Ford on Normal.  I've only been able to do it on Easy.
