I can't win with Bush on 1988.  That game is rigged (not to mention oversimplified).

Just attack Dukakis on everything  except Sodomy and you will crush him. I won 426-112 with Bush on hard
That margin is the same as IRL.  But that's my point.  They make it look like Bush only won because he went negative and attacked Dukakis on everything, and it wasn't that simple.

Ya I know the dems had no chance in 1988

No, they should have easily won.

The economy was in great shape in 1988, and much better shape then it was in 1980, the evil Soviet Union was falling apart, and the future looked optimistic. Gore like Bush should have won easily in 2000 but he blew it.
If Gore "should have won easily" in 2000, then Nixon should have in 1960 as well.

Played as Hughes/Burkett and lost narrowly.

BTW: I think they should wait until after the election to put up one on 2016.

Been a while since I done this, but here's my current batch. All Democratic, and on Easy since I suck at this.

1860: I did slightly better as Douglas

Lincoln/Hamlin: 168 EV, 38.2%
Breckinridge/Lane: 72 EV, 19%
Bell: 39 EV, 13.4% PV
Douglas/Guthrie: 24 EV, 29.3% PV

1916: Lost California and some Midwest states, won Urban New England instead.

Wilson/Marshall: 271 EV, 48.2%
Hughes/Fairbanks: 260 EV, 46.4%

I don't know why they put up a scenario for 2016 (it's full of hypothetical events). Trump is hilarious in it "How do we know Bill didn't father a black child with a Little Rock hooker"?

As for 2016a: Won by Wisconsin

Clinton/Booker: 275 EV, 49.2% PV
Trump: 263 EV, 47.6% PV

Guess that's what I get for trying to flip Utah.
