Twerking is a dance style involving vigorous shaking, as can be seen here.

IMO twerking is culturally significant and there's no act of protest today more authentic than two women twerking on subway tracks. I'm completely serious. (The problem with Miley Cyrus is appropriation and not vulgarity, etc.)

Yes.  And the state should provide free education in the fine art of twerking to all people who struggle to master the fine art.

I fully support the protection of one's right to twerk. Furthermore, we must ensure no one whose twerk fails is unable to obtain twerker's compensation benefits. We must ensure a safe twerkplace for every American. Twerkers of the world, unite!

So-called "right to twerk" laws are nothing more than a disingenuously named attempt to stick it to twerker unions.

Yeah I know what it is. I was just making a joke about the term 'twink'.

Exactly. "Right to twerk" is an anti-twerkingclass concept.

You're mixing up the term with "twink."

The question is wha do you mean by "right to twerk".  If by that you mean that people should be free to twerk as they wish, that's fine.  However if you mean by the state should offer publicly funded twerking lessons or butt augmentation surgery to ensure that everyone who twerks is bootylicious enough to be worth watching while they twerk, then no.

Is 'right to twerk' simply a euphemism to make it more difficult to organize twerking events or a way for club owners to pay their dancers less money?

American twerkers are simply going to have to learn to be more competitive with twerkers in other countries. Globalization has eroded the barriers to entry for unskilled twerk. Why should a twerker in Pennsylvania be demanding $55 a twerk when people in Bangladesh can twerk for less than half that? This is why hardly any twerking is happening in the United States anymore, and most people who are twerking these days are doing so in states like Texas and Georgia and other places with more flexible twerk laws.

**fit in NAFTA argument that has to do with twerking, or better yet, talk about wealth inequality between twerkers and owners and how twerkers now must be subsidized more than dairy farmers to make end's meet**
