An intervention, which is going to end the lives of thousands of innocent people, just because the local police did something you don't agree with?

I still don't understand why we have the arrogance to call ourselves the "civilized world." Then again, we are the only ones who hold ourselves in such high regards.

I was being somewhat tongue in cheek in that as you well know I strenuously opposed the Libyan intervention and the proposed Syrian intervention.  I do figure, however, that if we find it desirable to intervene on behalf of Muslim extremists in those countries, we could intervene on behalf of beer distributors (a far more appealing lot) in Nigeria.

I'm not saying 500 pound bunker busters dropped from B-52s on Mosques just yet, but perhaps targeted drones strikes on the Muslim 'policemen' who broke the beer bottles (and I don't even like beer, I just think we should stand for something, don't you know?).
